Primordial World: You Asked Me to Sell Goods, But I Became the Supreme of All Heavens

This is why Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva came.

Chapter 9: Journey to the West Tribulation

"Amitabha, this building looks simple, yet it is not," Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva murmured, looking at the general store before him.

Although he couldn't compare to powerful Quasi-Saints like Buddha Tathagata or the Lord of the Heavenly Court, Haotian, Ksitigarbha was at least a Quasi-Saint.

And a place that he, a Quasi-Saint, couldn't see through must at least be the domain of a Quasi-Saint, and not just any ordinary Quasi-Saint.

In fact, if it were possible, the owner here might even be a Saint.

Saints were somewhat out of reach for Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

After all, he had only just begun on the path of cultivation to become a Quasi-Saint.

"Which Saint could it be?" Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva wondered.

Clearly, if this Saint had come to Flower-Fruit Mountain, they must have joined the Buddhist tribulation.

However, according to what he knew, the Saints were confined by the legendary Dao Ancestor and could not easily enter the mortal realm, let alone openly alter the tribulation like this.

With his doubts, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva arrived before the general store and gently knocked.

"Knock, knock..."

As long as there are living beings, there will be evil.

"For the living beings," Wu Feng chuckled. "Ksitigarbha, it seems you are slightly better than the others in Buddhism. Tathagata, Guanyin, and the others are extremely hypocritical."

"In my eyes, Tathagata and the others are Buddhas, but they are also demons," Wu Feng said solemnly.

"Demons..." Ksitigarbha's expression changed. "Senior, please enlighten me."

"In the future tribulation, Tathagata's arrangements are all for themselves, and so are Guanyin and the others."

"Even more so, human lives are probably just ants in the eyes of Guanyin and the others. Do you know that most of the incense offerings from humans go to Guanyin, but has he ever thought of helping humans?"

"Only you, Ksitigarbha, seem to be kept in the dark. This tribulation has little to do with you, and Guanyin and the others won't specifically come to see you."

"In their eyes, you are just a pawn to increase Buddhism's luck. Then, who is the Buddha you speak of, and where is he?"

"Buddha Tathagata? That was the eldest disciple of the Intercepting Sect, Duobao."

"Dipankara Buddha, that was the Vice-Sect Master of the Heavenly Origin Sect who became a Buddha in Buddhism."

"Or perhaps Guanyin, Manjushri..."

"Then, Ksitigarbha, where is the Buddha in your heart?" Wu Feng roared.

Yes.

When Buddha Tathagata, Dipankara, and the others revealed their true faces, were there any true Buddhas left?

Tathagata was originally an avatar of the Buddha.

His status completely surpassed that of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Chapter Ten: If There Is a Buddha in Your Heart, Even a Demon Is a Buddha

Buddhist teachings emphasize saving all sentient beings, but according to the shopkeeper, Tathagata, Guanyin, and the others were all acting for themselves.

How could they save all sentient beings then?

Then who was the Buddha in his heart, and where was he?

What was he doing by purifying the evil souls in hell?

"Senior, Ksitigarbha does not know," Ksitigarbha shook his head.

"Ksitigarbha, if there is a Buddha in your heart, even a demon is a Buddha. If there is no Buddha in your heart, even a Buddha is a demon," Wu Feng said cryptically.

Naturally, this was the truth.

Even the Two Sages of the West, who created Buddhism, did they truly intend to save all sentient beings?

That was a joke.

During the War of the Witches and Demons, they forcibly converted the living beings of the Primordial World to join the Western Sect.

In the Investiture of the Gods, they joined forces to deal with Master of the Heavens' Intercepting Sect.
