- Demon Race (Invader) is a separate group from the ordinary Demon Race. Both originate from Chaos Bloodline-derived beings, but Invaders are comparatively homogeneous and establish organized settlements more readily, whereas the Demon Race comprises many distinct tribes. 476
- In the First Heaven Layer, the broad distinction between “Demon Race” and “Demon Race (Invader)” traces back to Chaos Fiendgods that proliferated after the separation of heaven and earth. 476
- The term “Demon Race” was historically used by the Human Race for non-human peoples; individual demon tribes are not necessarily politically unified. 422
Bloodlines and Evolution
Bloodline inheritance
Demon bloodlines determine a member's potential, inherited talents, and capacity to suppress weaker related lineages. A bloodline closer to its ancestor grants greater power and authority. 226 443
- The North Realm Mountain Demon Race descends from Kun, a Demon Emperor whose bloodline grants unique inherited talents. 226
- The Northern Snow Wolf clan is noted for close blood ties, pure bloodlines, and substantial mid- and low-level strength. 132
- Powerful Great Demons can influence descendants through their bloodline after gaining sentience. 293
- High-level bloodline suppression can compel weaker, related demons to obey; the Golden Eagle controlled large numbers of flying demons through this principle. 443
- The Dragon Bloodline possesses overwhelming suppression over ordinary demon bloodlines, causing even Demon Marshals to fear Jiang Qiu's Dragon Eye. 278
Form Transformation
Form Transformation is the Demon Race's first major cultivation threshold and corresponds to the Spirit Body Realm. It marks a metamorphosis that greatly improves cultivation speed and control of Heaven and Earth Spiritual Essence. 438
- Early Demon Race members may possess extraordinary innate abilities or acquire power through chance and absorption of natural energy. 499
- As they evolve, some develop half-human forms while others fully assume human form, though bestial traits may remain. 499
- Form Transformation Great Demons can be common among strong clans; among the Northern Snow Wolf clan, adulthood normally leads to Form Transformation. 132
- After Form Transformation, demons can more effectively develop their individual cultivation paths and manipulate Spiritual Essence. 438
Demon Cores and innate talents
Some demons condense Demon Cores, which store innate talents and serve as a source of power. 499
- Demon Cores may contain elemental powers, divine abilities, or transformations. 499
- Demon Race members at the Spirit Vein Awakening level have already established the foundations of personal cultivation methods. 438
- The Demon Race of the Primeval Forest has developed innumerable distinct cultivation methods through individual comprehension and experimentation. 438

History
Northern Realm conflict
The Demon Race held greater overall strength than the Human Race in the Northern Realm, forcing human tribes into limited northern territory near the North Sea and mountains. 187
The Avian Demon Race of Cold Sky Cliff controlled extensive western hunting grounds and was strong enough that other demon tribes seldom provoked it. During the Heaven's Chosen Competition period, Cold Sky Cliff invaded the North Snow Tribe. 187 205
The Northern Realm's Demon Race had repeatedly warred with humans for tens of thousands of years. While smaller human tribes were vulnerable, the main human tribes endured through ancestral defenses capable of repelling demon invasions. 208
Kun and North Realm Mountain
The North Realm Mountain Demon Race is the strongest clan in the Northern Realm and descends from Kun, an ancient Demon Emperor adept at transformation. 226
- Kun's lineage is considered the true host lineage of the Northern Realm. 226
- Its ordinary members can access tribal inheritance, including domain perception across an area of five to six kilometers without relying on sight or hearing. 225
- The clan maintains bloodline communication, allowing leaders to issue commands directly to nearby members. 227
- Its Heaven-Chosen Demon, Ji, perfectly inherited Kun's bloodline and was expected to lead the race in breaking the Human Race's seal. 225 233
Kunlun Demon Race
After reincarnating, Emperor Chen renamed the Northwest Demon Race as the Kunlun Demon Race and greatly increased its unity and strength. 391
- Chen's doctrine was: those who are not human are demons, and they should contend for the Great Dao together. 262
- Under Chen, previously hostile demon lineages became more cohesive, while their bloodlines were awakened through special methods. 262 391
- Chen cultivated a force of ten Demon Marshals carrying bloodlines associated with nine of the ancient Ten Peak Demon Races, alongside the Dream Demon's unusual Emperor Yi Butterfly lineage. 393
- Kunlun armies invaded the Xia Kingdom and devastated Plateau City, though their Demon General Jie was killed by Jiang Qiu. 261 265
Primeval Forest society
In the First Heaven Layer's Primeval Forest, the Demon Race developed a territorial civilization centered on clans, Overlords, cultivation, and Spirit Fruit resources. 445 476
- Great Demons planted Spirit Fruit seeds obtained from Taihu Lake in spiritually rich territories, creating a long-standing hierarchy of Overlords and Major Overlords. 445
- True Overlords can eliminate weaker demons who acquire valuable Spirit Fruit seeds, then cultivate obedient successors in their place. 445
- Demon cities support trade, administration, families, and children, rather than functioning solely as military settlements. 485
- Green Haze Marsh exemplifies a community where demons train, trade, learn from elders, and preserve ancestral knowledge through Elder Turtle's memory pool. 495
