Background / History

The sect possesses a legacy described as exceeding one hundred thousand years. Its inheritance accepts methods associated with demons, ghosts, Daoists, and yao, giving it an unusually broad collection of scriptures, formations, talismans, and body-cultivation arts. 552

Three thousand years before Xu Yunfan's arrival, the Primal Beginning Sect, Myriad Chariots Sword Sect, and Bodhi Zen Pure Land fought for control of the Divine Martial Realm Heaven. The Primal Beginning Sect ultimately branded the realm with its sect mark and claimed it as exclusive territory. 370

The Divine Martial Realm Heaven was subsequently treated as a cultivation resource site. The sect's Golden Core True Monarchs used the Realm Heaven Life Locking Technique to alter its temporal flow and revive spiritual-qi nodes, while disciples were sent there to collect “Blood Food” and harvest powerful martial artists. 365 366

Although the sect calls itself the Primal Beginning Sect and preserves many grand, ostensibly orthodox methods, outsiders call it the Primal Devil Sect because of its exploitation of disciples, living “Cauldrons,” conquered realms, and rival cultivators. 365 394

Divine Martial Realm Harvest

The sect’s connection to the Divine Martial Realm is exposed through You Quan, a Hundred Desires Peak disciple sent to collect Blood Food. Xu Yunfan learns that the realm is effectively a resource farm, with its strongest martial artists cultivated for later harvesting. 365 366

Xu Yunfan enters the sect under a false identity and chooses Hundred Desires Peak because its large population and lax management make it easier to hide among its disciples. He eliminates the seven disciples who brought him in to prevent them from exposing his identity. 394

Establishment of True Martial Peak

After forging a Divine Martial Dao Foundation, Xu Yunfan receives permission to establish a peak within the sect. His advancement removes him from the status of disposable Talent Material and gains him support from Clear Source True Monarch and Hundred Peaks True Person. 423

Xu Yunfan uses a Peak Opening Token to create True Martial Peak, a thousand-zhang cultivation ground containing thirty-six grotto-heavens, including the Weapon Tomb, Furnace, Sword Trial, and True Martial Cave. 425

Heaven Realm Campaign

The sect dispatches eight Foundation Establishment True Persons and nearly ten thousand Qi Refining disciples to invade the Heaven Realm, with Xu Yunfan serving as vanguard commander. 570

Its Qi Refining disciples charge the Heavenly Soldiers in a violent mass assault driven by Contribution Points, plunder, and the sect’s ingrained survival instincts. 571

Following the campaign, Xu Yunfan is credited with the foremost merit for breaking into the Heavenly Court’s core region, granting him access to exceptional sect rewards. 604

Golden Core Era and Realm Expansion

Upon reaching Golden Core, Xu Yunfan is recognized by the Primal Beginning Dao Lord and takes control of Divine Firmament Mountain, a former Dao ground with established authority and source power. 681 682

Pudu True Monarch later assigns Xu Yunfan to oversee the sect’s interests in the Attila World Heaven and seize its origin before the Myriad Chariots Sword Sect can take it. 696

As master of Divine Firmament Mountain, Xu Yunfan can mobilize sect resources for realm conquest, including cultivators from subordinate peaks, Void Crossing Boats, Realm Breaking Talismans, Ten Thousand Souls Fiend Suppressing Banners, spirit stones, and teleportation-array equipment. 697

Divine Firmament Lineage

With Divine Firmament Mountain attracting disciples after Xu Yunfan’s Golden Core breakthrough, Pudu True Monarch urges him to formalize a personal-disciple system rather than rely solely on the sect’s traditional free-range cultivation model. 708 730

Xu Yunfan ultimately accepts responsibility for recruiting disciples, transmitting teachings, and strengthening the Divine Firmament lineage, becoming more deeply tied to the sect’s internal power structure. 731
