Lulu Is So Adorable
Early the next morning.
I've had breakfast.
The three Adam, each carrying a gun, set off into the depths of the forest.
This was Adam's first real hunt, Adam was quite excited. Holding his gun and composite bow, he scanned the area quickly, eager to fire the first shot and be the first to go.
Although the United States has abundant forest resources, and some animals sometimes become so numerous that they are a plague, they cannot be seen everywhere. The three walked for quite a while without seeing a single animal.
"The ideal is beautiful, but the reality is harsh!"
Adam couldn't help but complain.
"It seems you really like ideals."
Juno remained calm and composed, and couldn't help but tease Adam when he complained.
"Hehe."
Adam could easily hear the sarcasm in Juno's words, but he pretended not to understand and didn't Juno. He just chuckled and continued to scan his surroundings.
This is a forest after all, and the dangers lie not only with animals but also with people, so vigilance is essential.
Fortunately, Adam's basic attributes far exceeded those of ordinary people. He was sharp-eared and sharp-eyed, and when he was focused, no movement could escape his observation.
Juno is also terrifyingly steady.
Karen's attention was not on hunting at all; without Juno's prompting, she was already on guard with her gun.
In addition, they have ample firearms and ammunition, and they are all trained in Grappling and Combat, so their safety is guaranteed and there is not much to worry about.
If we really run into someone who's blind to reason, who knows who should be worried?
"There!"
Adam caught a glimpse of a figure out of the corner of his eye and immediately whispered a reminder.
"It's a deer!"
Juno looked closely and said excitedly.
Deer are large animals, so they were lucky to encounter them on the first day.
"I like to eat venison."
Adam, holding his gun, scanned the area around the deer to make sure no one was around, and chuckled, "Roasted venison with wine is especially delightful, it's just missing the snow and red plum blossoms."
It's not unheard of for hunters to accidentally shoot and kill people; you can never be too careful.
Otherwise, daily life would be impossible, and they would have to switch to a supernatural and horror style.
Why are there red plum blossoms in the snow?
Juno, who was also helping to observe and confirm, asked curiously upon hearing this.
"The world is covered in silver snow, and the red plum blossoms stand proudly alone, their bright red embellishment adding to the artistic conception."
Adam was naturally thinking of the Dream of the Red Chamber in "Dream of the Red Chamber"—"a world of crystal, white snow, and red plum blossoms, where beautiful women with cosmetics eat raw meat and fish"—but he couldn't tell outsiders about it.
Juno gave him a strange look when she heard this.
Adam, unaware that she had misunderstood, focused intently and made a final confirmation.
"Clear!"
"Clear!"
Juno also focused her attention and made a final confirmation.
Not satisfied, the two checked again and again before Adam finally aimed his gun at the unsuspecting deer and pulled the trigger.
Bang!
Adam's marksmanship was so good that Coach Mike would often scoff and yell, "Here comes the show-off!" His hand was incredibly steady, and as soon as the shot rang out, the deer fell to the ground.
"Good marksmanship."
Juno exclaimed in admiration.
"Let's go take a look!"
Adam looked refreshed, put away the gun, and waved his hand.
The three of them quickly walked toward the location of their prey, where they saw the deer lying Jingjing on the ground, with blood flowing everywhere.
This is an adult male deer that is about two meters long, one and two meters tall, and weighs over 100 kilograms—definitely a large animal.
"A great start! That's all for today."
Adam laughed and said, "This deer is enough to keep us busy."
"Um."
Juno smiled and nodded.
For an ordinary person, hunting such a large deer would be quite troublesome, but Adam didn't need Juno and Karen's help at all. He simply lifted the entire deer and carried it on his shoulder with ease.
"What did you eat to grow up like that?"
Seeing this, Juno reached out and pinched Adam's muscles, and said with emotion, "You look slim when you're dressed, but you're muscular when you take your clothes off. But your muscles don't seem to be able to support your strength at all, and it seems that your strength is getting stronger and stronger."
"That's talent."
Adam chuckled and said, "There's no other way."
Juno smiled and let it go.
No matter how intelligent she was, she never imagined that someone as overpowered as Adam existed in the real world.
The three of them retraced their steps and returned to the Cabin in the Woods.
Adam placed the deer on the operating table.
The two put on masks and surgical caps, and then began to put on light blue surgical gowns, which were, of course, one of the medical supplies Adam had purchased.
Since it's a simulation to familiarize oneself with the surgical process, everything naturally needs to be as realistic as possible. Anyway, Adam isn't short of money, so he's equipped with everything he needs.
Seeing Adam staring longingly at Karen as she tied the sash behind her back, Juno smiled and gestured towards Karen with her lips.
Karen ignored her and focused on helping Juno with her work.
Juno shrugged.
Adam's lips twitched, and he had no choice but to fend for himself.
"I fired the first shot, now I'll give you the first strike."
Adam, holding the scalpel, did not make the first incision but instead gestured for Juno to make the first cut.
Juno didn't refuse. She took the scalpel and made an incision in the deer's abdomen. The sharp scalpel easily cut open the deer's abdomen, exposing its internal organs.
Adam pulled the spotlight up for a better look and began discussing the deer's anatomy with Juno, comparing it to the human body, creating a strong academic atmosphere.
The large deer was dissected amidst Adam and Juno's discussions and the taking turns making the incision.
At Karen's request, Adam and Juno cut the tenderest parts into appropriately sized and thick pieces.
Karen took the venison out to process it, and while it was still fresh, she planned to roast it for lunch.
"Would you like Karen to make you some soup?"
Juno skillfully escorted the long-dead stag into the palace, teasing Adam with a knife, "I've heard this thing is very nutritious."
And you say you don't know martial arts? Oh, no, I mean castration techniques?
I saw it all!
You can't possibly figure this out just by reading a book.
You're so skilled!
"No."
Adam's lips twitched, and he retorted, "I'm afraid of getting a sore throat."
"What's there to be afraid of when you get a sore throat?"
Juno teased, "Since you're really into Karen, how about I help you ask her out?"
"Don't joke around."
Adam wasn't fooled. He scoffed and said, "If that's the case, I'm afraid you'll pull out a knife and stab me tonight."
"Hehe."
Juno smiled but didn't reply.
The two continued to dissect and study biological structures.
A while later.
Adam couldn't help but glance at her.
"Ha ha."
This time, Juno burst into laughter.
Adam immediately understood and grinned helplessly.
He couldn't outsmart Juno when it came to playing mind games, so he made up his mind to never get involved in this again.
Zhou Shuren once said, "An open mouth dissipates one's spirit, and a moving tongue breeds trouble."
It is also said, "A thousand words are not as good as one silence."
This is absolutely true!
How should the deerskin be processed?
Juno laughed and said, "Should we sew it back up, or just sew a coat on it?"
"If you don't treat it and just sew it on as a coat, would you wear it?"
Adam said irritably, "Of course we'll sew it back up. We're using deer to practice our rescue skills, not to play around."
