New Jersey.

The Comic Book Store near the Hofstadter Family.

"So".

Adam looked at Leonard and smiled knowingly, "How do you want me to help you? The first kiss, or do you want more?"

"No."

Leonard lowered his head shyly, then looked up at Adam expectantly. "I didn't want any more..."

That was the first kiss.

Adam understood instantly.

Leonard chuckled.

"The first kiss is a wonderful thing."

Adam advised, "And from what you've said about Paige, it seems like she doesn't take you seriously at all. Are you sure you want to waste your first kiss on her instead of waiting for someone more suitable?"

"Waiting for someone more suitable?"

Leonard exclaimed urgently, "Then I'll have to wait a lifetime! Paige does have some issues, but I'm not afraid of wasting time! Yes! I'm not afraid of wasting time at all!"

"All right."

Adam shrugged and smiled. "It was your own choice."

"It was our choice."

Leonard chuckled awkwardly, "Adam, you have to help me."

"I Tried My Best."

Adam smiled, not finding it particularly difficult.

It's just a kiss. How difficult can it be in the world of American TV shows?

Any excuse will do the trick.

Moreover, this Paige looks like Scoundrel Woman loves to take advantage of others.

That makes it even simpler.

The on-site autograph session is still ongoing.

"Paige!"

Leonard waited at the door, eagerly watching the commotion outside. As soon as he caught sight of Paige, he rushed out, waving and shouting excitedly, "Here!"

"What a cool car!"

Paige is a typical United States blonde bombshell, just like Penny. Hearing Leonard call her name, she strides towards the Comic Book Store with her long legs, and her eyes light up when she sees Adam's SUV parked outside.

Not all girls like small, cool sports cars; some prefer rugged muscle cars because they are larger and have more space, making them more convenient and comfortable for people who like to travel.

"This is Adam's car."

Leonard licked his lips and said, "If you like, we'll take you for a drive later."

His voice and expressions vividly illustrate the word: simp.

"OK."

Paige gave Leonard a hearty laugh, but Leonard wasn't even in her sights; all she wanted to do was see Adam, Leonard had been longing to meet.

If he's really as amazing as Leonard claims, then she wouldn't mind using Leonard to get close to Adam.

In the original timeline, the reason she was able to attend Cornell University, one of the Ivy League in New York, was not only because of her family's good financial situation, but also because she intentionally befriended Leonard, having Leonard write her assignments and papers, thus easily obtaining an excellent academic record.

For a girl like her, it's a traditional skill to meet more outstanding men, constantly climb the social ladder, and keep more backup options hanging on as stepping stones.

"Adam, this is Paige."

"Paige, this is Adam."

When Leonard walked over with Paige, he saw the incredulous, envious, and jealous looks from all the otaku. He proudly raised his head and puffed out his chest, feeling an almost explosive joy inside.

That's right!

Dude, that's how awesome you are!

The comic book community is mostly made up of single, otaku men. Whenever a woman walks into Comic Book Store, she basically gets all eyes on her, the kind of stares that can scare people away.

In the original timeline, Leonard's favorite thing to do was to bring Penny to these kinds of events. His wallet was covered with intimate photos of him and Penny, which he would show to others when otaku questioned him.

He even went so far as to have Penny pose for a photo with him holding the day's newspaper, using hostage-taking as a way to prove that he had really gotten such a beautiful girlfriend and wife.

This was after more than ten years of dating and marriage.

He has never even held a girl's hand, yet he enjoys the "extraordinary man" status that he worked so hard for over a decade to achieve. You can imagine how intense this sense of happiness is.

And he knew that all of this was thanks to Adam.

Without Adam, Paige would refuse any of his invitations for the ten thousand and first time.

"Hi."

"Hi."

Adam stood up and shook hands with Paige.

Paige, who is a goddess in Leonard's eyes, is only a six out of ten in Adam's eyes.

However, the absence of any ugly women during those eighteen years, coupled with their youthful energy, certainly contributed to their appeal.

Adam let go of her hand, becoming increasingly certain that Paige was indeed a Scoundrel Woman.

Because, in full view of everyone, she subtly scratched Adam's palm with her fingers.

"Adam, shall we take Paige out for a drive?"

Leonard exclaimed excitedly.

"Let's wait a bit."

Adam smiled noncommittally and said, "It's not finished signing yet."

Leonard wanted to say, "With Paige here, who cares about them dying?"

But Paige proactively said, "No rush, I'll wait for you~"

"It's so kind of you."

Leonard was very touched, and then led Paige on a tour of the Comic Book Store, enthusiastically introducing her favorite comics.

As Adam signed the document, he pondered how to handle this troublesome matter.

The most crucial thing is not to hurt Leonard.

But with Paige's attitude, even if she doesn't hurt him today, she will still hurt him later.

Is a short, sharp pain better than a long, drawn-out one?

In the East Country, it would be inappropriate for brothers and friends to get involved in such matters.

It's common for brothers to turn against each other and friends to become estranged if things aren't handled properly.

But here, without Adam's help, Paige wouldn't even bother with Leonard.

Forget it, all he needs to do is fulfill Leonard's biggest wish right now; what happens to Leonard after that is no longer his concern.

We can't expect him to manage Leonard's love life, can we?

As for being hurt emotionally?

Leonard is actually very strong.

In the original timeline, even though he was dumped by Penny, whom he considered his true Penny, he quickly recovered and fell in love with Rajesh 'Rajesh sister, even wanting to go live with her in the Three Kingdoms.

Even a super-rich man like Rajesh is unwilling to return to his homeland, but Leonard is willing to go to a foreign country with him; this is definitely true love.

Therefore, true love is nothing rare for Leonard; he can fall in love with any beautiful woman at any time.

In other words, Leonard's true love will be greatly diminished, and the harm he suffers as a result will automatically be reduced to a harmless level.

Not to mention, any harm that any woman could possibly cause Leonard is nothing compared to the harm that Leonard's mother, Beverly, could cause.

Leonard's survival, his age, and his optimistic outlook speak for themselves. Why would he need Adam's special protection?

If Leonard had to choose, would he let Adam protect him and keep Scoundrel Woman like Paige away from harm, or would Adam help him and get close to Scoundrel Woman like Paige, even though he would get hurt afterward?

From eight-year-old Leonard to eighty-year-old Leonard, their answer has always been the same: Let go of those Scoundrel Woman, let them have it!

Adam, having figured this out, smiled unconsciously.

"Alright, that's enough."

Adam signed the last book, and before anyone else could arrive, he stood up, announced the signing, and called out, "Leonard, let's go for a drive!"
