Don't Stop Me, I'm Going to Beat Him to Death (Please Vote!)

Cooper's Home.

Night fell.

Mary and the other two said their goodbyes and left.

Seeing that Little Sheldon possessed such talent, everyone except Emmett was delighted. Fruit Hard Candy Band, now with four members, had finally risen from amateur small-time status to amateur middling status.

Late at night.

Adam lay in bed, staring straight at the ceiling, his eyes brimming with anticipation.

Ding!

Wisdom +0.005!

Ding!

Wisdom +0.005!

"Ha! Just as I thought!"

Adam was beside himself with joy. Little Sheldon instantly seemed much more adorable. The kid might have been a little bratty, but he had given Adam 5 Wisdom Points the moment he arrived, and now added another 0.005 every day.

Don't underestimate 0.005. Calculated out, it could add 1.825 Wisdom Points to Adam in a year. That was from just one person; adding Juno made it 3.65.

His Wisdom Points had started at 108, and they were now 114.015. Even if he found no new source of growth, relying on Little Sheldon and Juno alone would let his Wisdom exceed 120 in a year and a half, entering the excellent range. In seven years, it would exceed 140, making him a genuine genius.

He was only about to start ninth grade. Under the normal timeline, seven years from now, he would not even have graduated college. In other words, before applying to medical school, he could take the exams as a genius. Combined with his Super Endurance of 300, even if medical school coursework was incredibly complicated, he was still confident he could become one of the very best.

After that would come a magnificent transformation from genius intern to genius doctor. Once he became a genius doctor, he could follow the example of some handsome big-shot surgeon, make the Operating Room his home, perform surgeries day and night, and save lives.

One surgery meant 0.01 Lifespan. Ten surgeries a day meant 0.1 Lifespan. That was 36.5 a year. Work for two years, and he could live to a hundred. Then he could... ride the waves...

And that was a very conservative estimate!

Adam had already roughly figured out how Wisdom Points grew. It really was the accumulated influence of keeping close to the good and away from the bad. The reason his earlier attempt with Duke's genius classmate had failed was not because the other person was male. The real reason was that he had merely been an unnamed extra.

Extras had no rights, but that was fine. There were plenty of named geniuses, such as the future The Big Bang Theory Seven. Besides Sheldon, there were five more geniuses. How much Wisdom could they provide him?

Of course, he could not reach them for the time being. Aside from vaguely remembering that Leonard's mother had published a book based on Leonard, he had no recollection of any information about the others.

But it did not matter. This world did not only have The Big Bang Theory's genius group. There were also quite a few individual named geniuses like Juno. He would run into them eventually.

He did not need many. Even finding just one more would bring his dream of riding the waves much closer.

"Hahaha."

Adam could no longer suppress the joy in his heart.

"What happened?"

His father, Bob, came downstairs rubbing his eyes.

"Nothing. I just dreamed that I got promoted and a raise, married a beautiful rich woman, reached the peak of life, and lost control—I laughed myself awake."

Adam spoke utter nonsense with a straight face.

"Son, wake up."

Bob mocked him speechlessly. "Stop dreaming about good things all the time. I had dreams like that too, back in the day, but look at me now. Be realistic. Set yourself a small goal first."

"True."

Adam looked at Bob's typically balding, heavyset United States middle-aged-man physique and silently reminded himself to stay alert.

Doctors in White Coats might be dream lovers for many girls, but once they turned into bald men with big bellies, even the sweetest dreams would instantly shatter. If they happened to meet a hot-tempered tough girl, they might even get beaten up. That would be terrifying.

Over the next period of time, Little Sheldon successfully integrated into Fruit Hard Candy Band. The four of them rehearsed classic rock songs, and even Emmett changed his attitude. With Little Sheldon, a genius keyboardist, and Juno, a bassist, Fruit Hard Candy Band's performances utterly crushed those of the former PJ and The Vibe.

Music was highly infectious, and good coordination could multiply that infectious power. As a rock fanatic, Emmett naturally could not resist that feeling.

Besides playing rock with the band, Adam also asked Little Sheldon about his studies. As expected of a super genius, Little Sheldon could easily guide Adam through any question he had. The learning results were incredible.

Even Juno could not help saying, "I had some doubts about your intentions before, but now it looks like you really did it for studying."

Time flew by amid such fulfillment and happiness. In the blink of an eye, summer vacation had ended, and high school life officially unfolded before them.

Outside the school gates.

"Adam, Juno, please look after Shelly for me. He's still too young..."

Mary asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Cooper."

Adam answered with little confidence as he watched Little Sheldon fiddling with the bow tie around his neck.

Bullying in United States schools was extremely serious, and a fashionable genius like Little Sheldon was practically a torch, firmly drawing everyone's attention.

Fortunately, Little Sheldon was too young. For one thing, bullies had no interest in him; for another, Little Sheldon's father was the school's football coach, and his brother was on the football team. Most bullies came from the football team, so Little Sheldon would not have it as miserable as his future best buddy Leonard.

Leonard's situation was truly heartbreaking to hear and tearful to witness. Even "Little Sheldon's dad" had joined in bullying him. Really, no one dared claim they had it worse than him!

Classroom.

"Hello, students. I'm McElroy. I'll be your homeroom teacher, and for some of you, your English teacher as well..."

On the podium, a middle-aged female teacher introduced herself.

Although United States education used a credit system and rotating classrooms, without fixed classrooms or fixed classmates, there were still homeroom teachers. They were responsible for guiding students' academic planning and serving as a link between the school, students, and parents. After all, teachers in the rotating classroom system were primarily responsible for teaching, and someone still had to handle miscellaneous matters outside of class.

"...I've been at this school for more than twenty years, so I've seen a fair bit. But today has truly opened my eyes. I think everyone knows that we have a new student here, one who is young but extraordinarily gifted..."

At that point, everyone looked at Little Sheldon.

Most ninth graders were fourteen or fifteen years old. Little Sheldon being nine was simply too conspicuous, especially since he had raised his hand.

"Sheldon, go ahead?"

Mrs. McElroy's warm smile did not last more than a few seconds before Little Sheldon's bluntness shattered it.

"According to the student dress and etiquette code, that boy's hair is too long, this boy is wearing athletic clothes outside the permitted range, and that girl's top is too sheer, which means I can see things inside that should not be described."

Little Sheldon turned around and pointed them out one by one. Finally, he looked solemnly at the teacher. "Also, you violated subsection B of Chapter 5 on page 48 of the grooming regulations. You have a little mustache."

Adam, Juno, Emmett, and Georgie Jr., who had been hiding in the last row for fear that anyone would discover he was Little Sheldon's brother, all facepalmed in unison.

That brat was way too damn blunt!

The female homeroom teacher's goodwill toward Little Sheldon instantly vanished without a trace. To hell with this genius boy, to hell with her colleague's kid—she covered her mouth, and the thought of beating Little Sheldon to death filled her mind.
