The next day.

early morning.

"Okay, let's go for a run."

When Adam came to knock on the door as usual, he found Chandler already prepared, showing none of his usual procrastination and laziness. Instead, he was jumping, clapping, and shouting, looking like he had endless energy.

"What good thing happened?"

Adam laughed.

"Fine."

Chandler said, feigning nonchalance, "Can't I just simply enjoy running?"

"Monica, do you believe it?"

Adam looked at Monica, who was walking out of the house.

"Susie praised him."

Monica succinctly revealed the key point.

"Oh~"

Adam drawled, with an "I see" expression on his face.

"Okay, I admit it."

Chandler couldn't hold back any longer, rubbing his hands together and chuckling, "You know what, running really works, Adam, thanks."

"You are welcome."

Adam smiled and said, "It's what I should do."

"Actually, it's not entirely because of running."

Chandler chuckled and said, "Monica also deserves a lot of credit."

"OMG~"

Adam looked at the two of them in horror.

It's not what you think.

Monica rolled her eyes. "I was just teaching him some techniques."

"Yeah~"

Chandler said with a hint of smugness, "Some techniques for elevating the indescribable from something beautiful to something that makes others think it's murder and want to call the police!"

"So effective?"

Adam immediately remembered it, after all, Monica teaching Chandler's technique was definitely a famous scene from Friends. He hadn't thought of it before, but now he was interested.

"These are techniques developed from a woman's perspective. Do you think they're effective?"

Monica chuckled, "But Adam, you don't seem to need it, do you?"

"No one will dislike skills; having more skills is never a bad thing."

Adam said seriously, "It's easy to make people want to call the police as soon as they hear it, but it takes real skill to make people think it's a massacre and want to contact the army."

"Okay, I'll teach you in a bit."

Monica shrugged.

The friends in American TV shows are just that generous and casual in their behavior, sometimes leaving Adam speechless, but sometimes Adam applauds them.

"Don't wait any longer, let's teach now."

Adam urged, somewhat eagerly.

"OK".

Monica led the two into the house, sat on the sofa, picked up a piece of paper and a pen, and began to draw.

"The human body can be divided into seven major regions."

Monica quickly drew a human body curve and marked seven areas.

Wow.

Adam exclaimed, "Monica, anyone who didn't know better would think you were a doctor!"

"I am self-taught."

Monica said with a self-deprecating laugh, "Do you still want to listen?"

"Listen to this!"

Adam nodded quickly.

Then, Monica used the seven numbers 1-7 to give Adam a lesson in permutations and combinations that would make most people blush.

At crucial moments, Monica even provided her own voice acting, which truly broadened Adam's Eyes Wide Shut.

"Did you remember?"

Monica snapped out of her reverie about teaching and smiled at the dumbfounded Adam.

"Could you please write the number sequence password on this? I was a little lost in thought just now."

Adam said bluntly.

Monica blushed, quickly wrote the numbers in order on a piece of paper, and then tossed it to Adam.

Even though it wasn't the first time, having already Chandler's teaching, this time it still felt somewhat embarrassing.

After all, she had a psychological advantage because she and Rachel had taught Chandler together.

This time, however, she was all alone, with Adam and Chandler sitting beside her, so she no longer had the psychological advantage.

Adam carefully folded the paper and put it in his pocket.

Then the three of them chatted and laughed as they went downstairs to run in Central Park.

After more than a month of training, Chandler's breathing became much smoother while running, which was clearly a good result. No wonder Susie praised him for being so motivated.

"By the way, Chandler, do you know Meredith Grey?"

After a long run, as the three were walking back, Adam thought of Grey he had talked about with Juno the night before, and casually asked her about it.

Meredith Grey?

Chandler raised his voice.

"It seems you know him."

Adam exclaimed in surprise.

"Oh, of course I know her."

Chandler smiled smugly.

"Your ex-girlfriend?"

Monica noticed it too and joked, "Is he your flirting partner?"

"Hi! She's just my classmate, my junior."

Chandler gave Monica a disapproving look.

"Really?"

Adam and Monica both gave him a disdainful look.

"OK, OK."

Chandler couldn't contain himself and laughed smugly, "I can tell you, but you absolutely mustn't tell Ross."

"Why?"

Monica was puzzled.

"OMG."

Adam exclaimed in shock, "Meredith isn't Ross's ex-girlfriend, is she?"

"Impossible!"

Monica immediately denied it, saying, "You forgot, Carol and Ross were dating in college."

"Then what?"

Adam joked, "That doesn't mean anything."

"Alright."

Monica ignored Adam, looked at Chandler, and urged, "Hurry up and tell me."

"Alright then."

Chandler said proudly, "Meredith is our junior, a popular figure at school. Ross and I both like her. Once, we met her at a party. At that time, she was single, so we both wanted to go up and chat her up."

Then we started arguing, and to avoid affecting our brotherhood, we made Brotherhood Pact: neither of us was allowed to pursue her.

"And then you betrayed him and secretly got together with this Meredith?"

Monica's eyes widened in disbelief. "I never would have guessed, Chandler, that you were this kind of person."

With an expression that says, "You, with your thick eyebrows and big eyes, are actually a traitor?"

Hey! Don't look at me like that.

Chandler complained, "Ross betrayed me too. He knew I was really into a girl back then, but he was secretly getting intimate with her. At that time, I..."

He was too embarrassed to bring it up again.

He cried when he saw that scene.

He truly believed that girl was his true love back then.

"You guys are really something."

Adam quipped, "They all play Infernal Affairs, huh? I told you Ross wasn't being honest."

"That is."

Chandler chimed in, "So it's perfectly reasonable that I dated Meredith so many times, and even went to Ross's territory, the Science Lab, on several occasions."

Monica couldn't help but roll her eyes again.

"I never imagined that she had such a past with you."

Adam was deeply impressed.

It's truly No Coincidence, No Story.

Adam originally thought there was only an 80% chance that Meredith would become his colleague in New York, but now, with this latest development, he thinks the chances have risen to 95%.

Seeing Chandler's smug expression, seemingly very proud of his experience with Meredith, Adam couldn't help but tease him, "Are you sure Ross isn't like you?"

"What?"

Chandler was stunned for a moment, then realized what was happening, and his face darkened. "What?!"

"Hahaha."

Monica was overjoyed.
