The next day.

A restaurant near Brooklyn.

"Is this the place?"

Adam and his friends came together to cheer Monica on as she started her new job.

Yesterday, he was smugly declaring that he would make being a stock market guru his lifelong career, only to be forced out of the market the next second.

Overwhelmed by extreme joy and sorrow, Monica completely gave up on the idea of making money through stock trading.

Then, her last bit of money went down the drain.

So, she had no choice but to come here to work, using the job posting from the newspaper as her guide.

Wow.

When everyone saw Monica standing behind the bar, their expressions changed.

She wore a fluffy silver wig, and her breasts, which had suddenly become as large and voluptuous as waves, were even more exaggerated than Heather's. She also wore a pair of glasses around her neck.

This is her costume.

The originator of cosplay.

"Don't bother looking, it's all fake, it's completely empty inside."

Seeing that Adam and Joey were staring at her, Monica couldn't help but grab at it to demonstrate, and said sarcastically, "Adam, you really can't live without women."

"Cough cough."

Adam was a little embarrassed.

He would never have done this before.

But Heather has been gone for over a month now, and Adam, Just You Show, really is just as Monica said, unable to live without women.

Sure enough, as his period of being single continued, the usually composed man would occasionally be attracted by a woman's curves, completely losing control of himself.

"I was just thinking about something, and I was a little lost in thought."

"Cut!"

Everyone else uttered words of disdain.

"You and Heather really broke up?"

Chandler asked with concern, "Should I ask Susie to introduce you to a few? With your looks, you could totally date actresses."

"Hi!"

Upon hearing this, Joey immediately became jealous, her eyes widening in anger. "Why do you only introduce people to him, but never think of introducing me to anyone? I'm single too, and I'm an actress. Don't you think I'm more suited to dating actresses?"

"You're something else. Didn't I just say I'd introduce a few? Adam doesn't need that many."

Chandler tried to salvage the situation, but to no avail.

"That's more like it."

Joey pursed her lips, nodded, and smiled.

"Hi!"

Ross couldn't help but shout, "Why am I not included?"

"Um?!"

Everyone looked at him, and then at Rachel.

"What are you doing?"

Rachel looked puzzled.

Aren't you angry?

Monica asked, puzzled.

"Oh, come on~"

Rachel shrugged. "You guys don't really think Ross can do it, do you? He's just good at making lists and thinking. Dating female celebrities? Him?"

"Hi!"

Ross said with dissatisfaction, "That's not just a list. If I actually run into them, I'll really take action."

"OK".

Rachel smiled nonchalantly.

"You really think I wouldn't dare to do it?"

Ross was furious.

"What list?"

Adam interrupted.

"It's like we can imagine a list of lovers, and the list can include five celebrities."

Rachel laughed and said, "If we run into them, we can have sex with them without them getting angry."

"You guys really know how to have fun."

Adam gave two thumbs up.

"Please, this is just imagination, it won't actually happen."

Rachel offered a forced explanation.

"This is New York."

Adam cautioned, "The celebrities you imagine are actually quite likely to meet."

Who's on your list?

Chandler asked curiously.

"Mine are Chris O'Donnell, John Kennedy Jr., Danielle Day, Louis Sting, and Parker Steven."

Rachel rattled off five names in one breath, clearly indicating that this wasn't the first or second time she'd indulged in such fantasies.

Adam didn't recognize any of them, but judging from Monica and Phoebe's expressions, he knew that Rachel had chosen very handsome men.

"Ross, what about you?"

Chandler then looked at Ross.

"Take it out."

Rachel said irritably.

"Ha! Cough! What did you take out?"

Ross laughed and coughed, spreading his hands with an innocent expression.

"Your lover's list."

Rachel complained, "Don't think I don't know. Not only did you compile a list, but you also went and printed it out, and even laminated it."

"Puff!"

Everyone burst out laughing, "Are you serious?"

"This is the list."

Ross said awkwardly, "I just wanted to be more formal; the lamination is for better preservation..."

Finally, seeing that everyone was staring at him strangely, he couldn't continue speaking and had no choice but to take out a small business card from his pocket.

"He also carries it with him at all times!"

Rachel scoffed, "He's afraid that one day he'll actually run into someone and won't be able to use such a perfect excuse to approach her."

"Uma Schumann, Wino Nareid, Elizabeth Hurley, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dorothy Hammill."

Joey snatched it away and read it aloud.

"Dorothy Hammill?"

Everyone turned to look at Ross again. He was a famous figure skater, but his looks were another story.

"Hey! This is my list, I'm in charge!"

Ross cried out in embarrassment and anger.

"Uma is beautiful!"

"I like Wino!"

The group discussed the matter, each offering their own opinion.

"You all like Wino?"

Seeing Adam nod, Rachel exclaimed in surprise, "My best friend from college looks a lot like her."

"Really?"

Joey exclaimed.

"Of course it's true."

Rachel affirmed, "We're very close. Ross has met her too, oh!"

At this point, he suddenly felt something was amiss and looked at Ross with scrutinizing eyes.

"Coincidence! It's all a coincidence!"

Ross's expression changed, and he quickly denied it, saying, "Your college best friend? Have I ever met her?"

Everyone looked on with disdain, but in the end they didn't dwell on the topic.

Falling for one's girlfriend's best friend, or even the best friend's boyfriend, is commonplace. As long as it's not excessive and there's no real action, it's not a big deal for Rachel and her friends.

The conversation then turned back to Adam.

"Seriously, Adam, what's going on between you and Heather?"

Rachel asked curiously.

"It's probably the same as Caroline's case."

Monica scoffed, "He's already gone back to inherit the manor, why is he abandoning Adam?"

"So pitiful."

Rachel asked with pity, "Adam, you've been dumped by two women in a row, are you alright?"

"I can still hold on."

Adam's lips twitched, and he gave a self-deprecating laugh.

What should have been a very natural thing was made somewhat frustrating by what they said.

However, he does need a woman.

Otherwise, with his boundless energy, he really couldn't hold back any longer, especially with the two beautiful girls, Iliad and Bianca, constantly appearing in front of him.

It's just like an advertisement from a past life: Wangzai Milk, if you keep looking, I'll drink you up.

The three meanings are perfectly aligned.

The group chatted while eating.

Before leaving, Adam went to the bathroom to use the toilet, but suddenly bumped into someone whose touch felt strangely familiar.

"Heather?"

Adam blurted out the answer without thinking, then looked closer and realized it wasn't him at all, but he recognized the face...

P. S.: Happy Qixi Festival everyone! Have a blast tonight, I'll definitely be there to keep you company...
