Bachelor Party, Stop the Car!
Central Perk.
"Yes."
Joey said matter-of-factly, "I can't exactly go out and buy one, can I? Your laundry basket is right there, so I'll just borrow it for now."
Over the years, Rachel and Ross broke up and got back together several times. With Chandler and Monica starting a relationship and moving in together, Rachel had to move out.
Chandler's bedroom happened to be available, so at Joey's strong invitation, Rachel moved across the hall and became Joey's roommate.
Given Rachel's style of appearing in the film throughout the later episodes with makeup applied, it's perfectly normal that the extremely private laundry basket isn't placed in the bedroom but rather casually displayed in the living room.
"This is the boundary I've been telling you about."
Adam complained, "I was going to give you my apartment back then, but you didn't want it. Now you regret it, don't you?"
"It's a bit expensive for me to rent it all by myself!"
Rachel felt both wronged and regretful. "And Joey warmly invited me to stay here."
Although her behavior has become increasingly open, she still finds this kind of thing somewhat unacceptable. After all, Joey is not her boyfriend, and there are limits to how close they are. Joey's behavior makes her feel somewhat disgusted.
"What's wrong?"
Joey was so engrossed in the silky smooth feeling of being a real man that he didn't immediately realize that his actions had gone too far.
"You've crossed the line."
Adam pointed out, "Rachel isn't your girlfriend. How could you take her underwear without asking? And then put it on yourself?"
If this weren't for comedic effect, it would be considered thuggish and perverted behavior anywhere.
"Oh."
Joey glanced at Rachel's pale face and then realized what was going on. He chuckled awkwardly, "Rachel, I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it. I just wanted to prove to Phoebe that I'm a real man."
"Never mind."
Rachel gave him a disdainful look, then warned, "This is a one-time thing, don't let it happen again."
"I've got it."
Joey nodded emphatically.
"What does this have to do with being a real man?"
Adam asked curiously.
"It's like this..."
Joey then recounted the whole story.
It turns out that Phoebe's new boyfriend was seen wearing women's underwear by Joey. He also found it strange and asked Phoebe about it. To his surprise, Phoebe said that she made him wear it and that only a real man would have the courage to wear it like that.
Then, Joey felt compelled to give it a try.
You actually believe that?
Adam joked, "Then you can go to a gay bar, those are full of real men like that!"
"..."
Joey was stunned.
He really hadn't expected this.
With his simple logic, his biggest rebuttal to Phoebe's words was. "Of course I'm a real man. You all know about all those Playboy magazines I collect, right?"
Busy times fly by.
Four weeks passed quickly.
The night before the wedding.
Singles' night.
"Groom, are you ready to enjoy your last moment of single life?"
Adam laughed.
"Certainly."
Chandler rubbed his hands together, somewhat excited.
The bachelor party was planned behind the groom's back, all for the sake of a surprise. To this day, he still doesn't know what Adam has prepared.
"Then let's set off."
Adam snapped his fingers and took Chandler, walking out.
Where are we going?
Chandler was somewhat expectant, and joked, "Let's make it clear first, we can't go to those unhealthy places. I'm afraid Monica's brother will chase me to the ends of the earth and give me a good beating."
"Hahaha!"
Adam and Joey burst into laughter.
Ross glared at everyone, displeased. "What's so funny?"
"We're laughing at Monica's brother. What does that have to do with you, Chandler's best man, Ross?"
Adam joked.
That's right!
Ross was also a groomsman, but not the chief groomsman, just as Phoebe was a bridesmaid, but not the chief bridesmaid.
At that time, he will stand behind Adam.
In the morning, when no one was around, Ross found Chandler and, as his brother-in-law, spoke to Chandler with an extremely serious and fierce expression.
"You're getting married tomorrow, and I'm very happy for you both. But as Monica's older brother, I have to tell you something: if you dare to hurt my sister, if you dare to make her unhappy, I will find you no matter where you are and give you a good beating!"
This fierce look didn't scare Chandler at all; instead, it made him burst out laughing.
Then everyone who heard this laughed, even the bride Monica. Ross's face darkened with laughter, but no one told him why.
In truth, he knew a little bit about it, but he just didn't want to say it.
In everyone's eyes, Ross is a mad scientist, though far inferior to Sheldon and Leonard, but he does have that quality.
He can talk a good game about science, but when it comes to physical fights, he's a complete idiot.
When he was a child, he was robbed by a girl named Phoebe.
A few years ago, he was so intimidated by two bullies that he didn't dare come to the Central Perk for coffee.
This cowardly man is now acting so fiercely, declaring that he will act as his sister's muscle, beating up anyone who dares to anger her, no matter where they are.
Are you sure this isn't a monkey sent to make us laugh?
Come to think of it, he only dares to compete and fight with his own sister Monica, and he doesn't hold back at all when beating Monica.
Of course, most of the time, he was the one who got beaten up by Monica.
"Don't worry, he's perfectly healthy and will definitely not give Monica's older brother a chance to beat someone up."
Adam joked.
The group went downstairs, where a luxurious limousine was already waiting.
"That's not fair!"
Upon seeing this, Ross couldn't help but complain, "Adam, you were the best man at my wedding, why didn't you have this?"
Which time are you referring to?
Adam played with flavor.
"Hahaha."
Chandler and Joey burst into laughter again.
I missed it the first time.
Adam pressed the communicator to signal the driver to start, and joked, "The second time was in London, not our home turf. The third time, you and Rachel had a whirlwind marriage and divorce in Las Vegas. Tell me, what am I supposed to do?"
"..."
Ross was speechless.
"Don't be envious, you still have a chance."
Joey patted Ross on the shoulder and said seriously, "Anyway, you've already divorced Rachel. Who knows, your fourth wedding might come sometime. Adam can make it up to you then. We all believe you can do it."
"Right!"
Adam laughed and said, "But there's only one chance. Otherwise, if you get married every year, even if I'm a billionaire, I can't afford it."
Ross crossed his arms, slumped back, rolled his eyes, and didn't want to say a word.
Nowadays, when people hear that he's so young and has been married and divorced three times, many just walk away.
Because it doesn't matter how many relationships you have, but marriage is still considered sacred by United States.
"Marriage Maniac" is not a flattering title.
"Wait, something's wrong, stop the car!"
Adam, who was chatting and laughing with the others as they surrounded Ross, suddenly shouted.
But the car didn't stop as requested; it continued driving at high speed...
