Seeing that the driver ignored him, Adam had already guessed what was going on. He pounded on the sealed partition, and even the soundproof partition couldn't withstand Adam's powerful blows.
The car slowly came to a stop.
The soundproofing panels are retracted.
"Gentlemen?"
The driver looked at Adam with an innocent expression.
"This is not the way to the gymnasium next to the kindergarten."
Adam frowned.
"Yes."
The driver chuckled, "Your good friend has replanned your route, wanting to give you a surprise."
"Good friend?"
Chandler and his two companions were completely baffled.
"We don't know any good friends."
Adam said coldly, "Now, go to the stadium immediately. We need to watch the game. I will handle the follow-up matters with your company."
"Yes."
The driver's smile froze. Not daring to argue with Adam, he agreed and restarted the car.
Renting such a luxury car is extremely expensive, and most people don't have that kind of spare money. Even on a big day like Singles' Day, only people from the middle class or above are willing to spend that amount of money.
If the customer were truly an ordinary middle-class individual, the driver would most likely just give them a straight answer, because such customers are usually one-offs, so it wouldn't matter if he gave them a straight answer.
But Adam looked like a rich man, and in this country, you can't mess with a rich person.

"Spend so much money on a complete stranger, just to watch a burlesque performance together?"
Ross stared in disbelief. "Is it really that boring?"
"It's just that boring."
Adam complained, "In fact, there are countless things that are even more boring than this. He can go to the airport to pretend to be an international businessman in order to come up with new ways to pick up girls. Once he sees a target, he can buy a plane ticket and fly with her to any place."
"Now I finally understand why I've been losing to him all these years."
Joey said angrily, "This kid is way too damn willing to spend money!"
Airfares aren't cheap, and long-haul tickets are even more expensive. Barney can spend that money without batting an eye for a new woman he's set his sights on; you have to admire his generosity.
"What does he do? How can he be so rich?"
Ross was filled with envy. "A super-rich second-generation heir?"
"Well."
Adam thought for a moment, then shook his head and said, "He's probably a senior executive at a financial company. He's not some super-rich second-generation heir, but his income is still very high, so he can afford to play around."
Barney's profession has always been a mystery, even Ted and his friends don't know, which is even more baffling than when Chandler worked in data processing at an IT company.

Then, he briefly explained to everyone how awesome Sheldon was.
