"Do you know her in the way we're thinking?"

Both Marshall and Lily laughed.

One was a normal laugh between people who all knew each other and were friends.

The other was a devilish smile tinged with scrutiny.

Adam nodded at Marshall first, then looked at Lily and spread his hands. "Lily, come on. Janice? Are you serious?"

"What's wrong with Janice?"

Lily understood what Adam meant. Thinking of how attractive Adam's friends were, she knew it was impossible, yet stubbornly said with slight embarrassment, "Janice is pretty too..."

"That's only to you~"

Adam teased, "All right, call her and ask if she has time. If she does, have her come over. We can all talk it over together. Buying a house is a major decision. You need to discuss it properly."

"I'll call her."

Marshall immediately took out his phone and called her. After saying a few words, he hung up. "She'll be here soon."

"Marshall, you're not in the right state of mind."

Adam glanced at Marshall and reminded him with a smile, "Don't let a spur-of-the-moment impulse make you buy a house. At the very least, look at more places and learn some basic things first."
