Background

Destruction of the Jin Family

Jin Xi was born into the Central Province Jin Family and possessed Metal and Earth Dual Spirit Roots. The family was later destroyed after its Spirit Transformation ancestor died exploring the Feathered Ascension Sect ruins. Enemy forces used a Jin Family senior’s blood to curse the surviving bloodline; the damaged Feathered Ascension Tower resisted most of the curse and concealed Jin Xi from further deductions, leaving her as the family’s sole survivor. 62 574 579

While still a Foundation Establishment cultivator, Jin Xi fled the Central Continent with Long Xuan and escaped to the Eastern Wasteland. Her resources became scarce, but she continued cultivating while carrying the goal of avenging her family. 146 574 577

Rise as Ancestor Jin

Jin Xi became a Golden Core Sword Cultivator and established herself at Ziyang Mountain. She trained the Twelve Sword Servants, cultivated additional hidden forces, and sought a Ninth Revolution Golden Core as part of her long-term preparations for revenge. 34 143

She first encountered Lu Xuanji at the Wu Family Market, later preaching basic talisman knowledge to cultivators at Ziyang Mountain. Intrigued by his luck, she offered to accept him as a disciple; he refused to remain with the Lu Family. Jin Xi and Lu Xuanji opened a mysterious treasure chest using Great Yin True Water and Jin Xi’s blood. Separation, Recovery, and Spirit Transformation

Jin Xi’s conflicting natures produced the Azure Lotus Clone, an incarnation associated with her Heavenly Devil Dao Body. Following later injuries, Jin Xi split into the Immortal-path Xi Yue Dao Lord and the demonic Azure Lotus Dao Lord; Azure Lotus eventually separated further and took the Chaos Ancient Hall. 246 377 461

Her first attempt at Spirit Transformation failed catastrophically, leaving her with only years to live. Lu Xuanji obtained a Rank 6 Creation Fruit to heal her, after which they undertook Mortal Transformation by sealing their cultivation and living under changing mortal identities. Revenge and Nirvana

After returning to the Central Continent, Jin Xi identified the Bai Family and Golden Dawn Grotto-heaven as major beneficiaries of the Jin Family’s destruction. She also learned that Gu Yang—her paternal aunt’s husband—had betrayed the Jin Family. 573 574

Jin Xi eventually destroyed the Bai Family and Golden Dawn Grotto-heaven, settling the central vengeance she had carried for seventeen hundred years. Severely injured after using overwhelming power, she entered the Feathered Ascension Nirvana Art to heal and advance at the risk of death. 588

Following her first Nirvana, Jin Xi reunited with Lu Xuanji at Dao Integration Peak. She retained two Ascension Talismans within the Chaos Ancient Hall, offering a route to the Immortal Realm without reaching the normal peak of cultivation. 717

The destruction of the Jin Family left Jin Xi deeply vengeful and suspicious, particularly because of the Heavenly Devil Dao Body’s sensitivity to negative emotions. Despite this, she retained restraint: after defeating Zi Yunxiao during her Human Tribulation, she chose not to harm the Zi Family’s lower-level cultivators and civilians. 243 247

Jin Xi values survival and tactical concealment. She teaches that a cultivator should hide their true condition, feign injury when useful, and encourage enemies to underestimate them rather than pursue a fair-looking battle. 244
