The Contact Person

There are two types of assassins in the Mirror of Sin.

One type is trained by the Mirror of Sin itself. They are not listed on the Mirror of Sin's 'Evil Execution List' and are often active in the various branch offices.

Their duties are generally to assist assassins with missions, investigate targets, gather intelligence, and handle commissioned tasks.

Chu Qing hadn't truly delved into the specifics, nor did he have the right channels to do so.

The other type is recruited from the outside world.

This situation is relatively complex; those who join the Mirror of Sin as assassins all have their own reasons.

Ultimately, people's hearts are varied, and their goals are not the same.

In the face of this situation, the Mirror of Sin also has its own set of protective mechanisms.

The liaison is one part of this mechanism.

Every assassin recruited from the outside world will have a liaison.

Their main responsibility is to communicate with the Mirror of Sin on behalf of the assassin and to obtain commissions from the Mirror of Sin for the assassin to choose from.

Skilled liaisons can even help assassins plan their assassinations.

Some of these liaisons are trained by the Mirror of Sin itself, while others have gained the trust of the Mirror of Sin through other channels, thus obtaining this status.

Chu Qing's liaison was the latter.

Like Chu Qing, he was dissatisfied with the state of the world.
