• Shade transformed into a giant star and plunged into the pit, where he and the White Snake grappled with the Black Snake as Winnie and Luvia withdrew.
• Iluna arrived, invoked Fate Stance, and struck Valentine Halonin with a crimson Thunder Spear, sending her crashing toward a mountain.

• Emilia used Time Stop to let Shade bind the serpent corrupted by the Demon King’s blood with the Great Sin Chains and three demonic marks.

• The Lover of Desire claimed that devouring her beloved had made them one and completed her fate, then manifested a Ninth Ring of Fate.
• The Lover of Desire and her Ring of Fate began to crack and repeatedly shatter and regenerate, leaving Iluna to strike while the monster could not attack.

• Ellie transformed into a young woman, used the Bent Arc to separate the Resurrection Ring from the Ouroboros Black Ring, and helped Iluna destroy the Lover of Desire.

The Baron revealed that he had wished for Valentine to love him forever, leaving the story with Shade learning that both lovers had made the same wish.

• Shade gave Priest Augustus the broken blade containing the souls of Baron Samir and Valentine Halonin, and asked whether they could be separated.
• Doctor Schneider purified the blade, and Priest Augustus released the two souls from it.
• Priest Augustus silenced the pair and let Shade question Baron Samir first.
