Shade opened his eyes, raised his head to look at the Moon beyond the snow-filled window, then examined the three glowing stone slabs that were spontaneously revolving around him.
Without a word, he reached out and touched the final Red Moon Stone Slab. After a soft sigh, complete knowledge of how to further elevate the thaumaturgy Time Perception and thereby learn the true Time Mystery appeared in his mind:
The elevation ritual for this thaumaturgy is really complicated. It requires at least an Angel Level relic closely connected to time as the core material. It also needs powerful ancient strength as assistance, along with countless other ritual materials.
There were simply too many materials needed for the ritual to elevate Time Perception. He definitely could not gather them all within a short period of time. Shade planned to commission their acquisition first, then hold the ritual after the matter of the Fourth Chosen One was resolved. He could not afford to be distracted now, and since the ritual had already been determined, it did not matter when he performed it.

As he rose from the floor, his right hand drew a short knife glowing with crimson moonlight from the air. It was an exceptionally ornate short knife, as though made of pale red translucent glass. Like the Silver Moon Moonbeam Greatsword and the Yellow Moon Moonlight Longsword, it was a Spiritual Weapon summoned by Miracle Technique: Moonbeam Greatsword. Its short knife form was due to the Red Moon's origin being connected to the God of Bloodkin.
