The entire dream world seemed to contain nothing but the sound of wind blowing. The earth was shattered, and the sky was no longer whole. Even though Luvia had described this apocalyptic scene, and Shade had anticipated it before entering the dream, seeing it for himself was still terrifying. He was very glad that this was a dream. Though the scene looked extraordinarily horrifying, it had merely frightened him.
If this were reality, he could not imagine how chaotic the elements here would be.
He even suspected that living in the Life and Death Limbo, the Unknown Level Relic on the verge of losing control, would be better than living in a place like this. Fortunately, this was only a dream.
He turned to look toward the high rooftop, wanting to find the cat from earlier. But when he raised his head, he saw the dream's owner, Luvia Annette, sitting there with Little Mia in her arms.
The Luvia who appeared now looked somewhat more mature. Her black gown was covered in dust. Her tangled brown hair was no longer shoulder-length, but nearly reached her waist.
When he looked more closely at the cat in her arms, he realized that the lazy cat licking its paws was somewhat different from Mia. Its eyes were not bright amber, but silver white, as though it suffered from an eye disease. A normal cat could not possibly have eyes that color.
Dream Luvia sat there blankly, staring at the scene before her. Tears flowed from her purple eyes, and the sorrow in her expression made Shade's heart ache terribly.
He carefully stepped over the tiles and gravel, bending as he climbed closer. He had assumed that "she" in the dream would not notice him, but Luvia's hoarse voice emerged as her cracked lips
