What Shade really wanted to ask now was what had happened to Mia at home after he failed to return last night. But the other ladies by the bed had all breathed sighs of relief, so he could only patiently wait for Luvia to finish feeding him the porridge.
Even after Luvia had truly finished feeding him that bowl of rice porridge into which they had added potion, they still did not let Shade get out of bed. Instead, they had Miss Sylvia examine him again.
It was not an examination by a Ring Arcanist, but an ordinary one to see whether his fever had gone down. Miss Sylvia was not only Margaret's tutor but also her personal Doctor, making her the most suitable person for the task.
Naturally, the results were exactly as Shade had said. His fever had completely disappeared, though his body was still somewhat weak. In fact, thanks to his formidable recovery ability, even that post-illness weakness was rapidly fading.
