"Ms. Eisberg."
The two members of the Winter Order hurriedly bowed, while Shade and Luvia also respectfully greeted the Thirteenth Ring Sorceress.
Ms. Aisha Eisberg was still wearing the same dark blue gown from their last meeting, except the sparkling gemstone fragments along the hem had been replaced with simple white lace. She smiled at Shade and said:
"We meet again, Mr. Hamilton. The Nameless One's Remains have now safely entered the Far North and will likely reach Saint Byron's in a few days. A few days ago, I met with your teacher again. She simply could not praise you enough."
Only then did Shade remember that he had not reported his investigation progress in the Green Lake Region to Miss Danist for over a week.
"Good morning, Madam. This time, I wanted to—"
"Yes, I already know. That item is very ancient and very valuable. I cannot personally decide the ownership of the Cult's property so easily, even if you are Daniste's student. Fortunately, that item is quite unusual. It is stored within a container sealed by an ancient secret art. From the outside, one can only see that there is a card inside. Many methods have been attempted by those before us, but none succeeded in opening it. The records passed down by the Cult state that whoever wishes to obtain that card may claim it as long as they can open the seal. The Cult is merely keeping it in custody."
"Then what is required to open the seal?"
Shade asked curiously. The Thirteenth Ring Sorceress revealed a meaningful expression:
"A key. A key in the form of a card. But no one knows exactly what kind of card it is. Mr. Hamilton, since you are so concerned about it, I imagine you already have the answer."
