Before the Rainy Window, golden traces of light once again spread along the veins of the leaf until all the light entered Shade's eyes.

He let out a muffled groan and closed his eyes, digesting the vast and disordered information. It took him quite a while, clutching his head, before he looked up again, making the cat beside him very worried.

Shade had already known that the rules of the Silver Moon Library assigned different permissions based on the method of entry. This time, however, he finally learned all the types of access.

First, low-level access. This required using a one-time ritual to push open the Silver Moon Door, with the three stone slabs in Shade's possession serving as keys. Entering the library this way was not only limited to once a year, but although one could browse the library's collection records, the content one could actually read was restricted.

Second, intermediate access. The ancient Moon God Cult possessed a method of offering sacrifices to and worshipping Moon, thereby obtaining the qualifications to enter the library. This was a gift bestowed upon believers by the Ancient God—the Silver Moon Sage.

But in the current Sixth Epoch, this method was almost impossible to carry out. The venue requirement could be met at the Black Night Spirit Temple in Randall River Valley, but the problem was that opening the Silver Moon Door required a devout High Priest of the Cult and a complete, standardized sacrificial ceremony.
