Looking more closely behind Invisible Man, Shade saw that he was clearly not alone by the lakeshore. More people were walking or working amid the fog, including Ring Arcanists obviously dressed as clergy of the Orthodox Church.
This connection was extremely unstable. Invisible Man's figure kept flickering, clearly unable to last much longer.

But the good news is that since this kind of connection works, there must be other ways to communicate as well. Death's Chosen One asked me to pass a message to the God Summoner—ignite the flame."
Shade frowned slightly.
"Fire? I understand."
"And one more thing. The Church is trying to use projections like
