Luvia was very pleased that Shade spent more than half of the Sunlight Month on life and study. On average, the Diviner with Purple Eyes spent two or three nights each week at 6 Saint Derain Square, passing one intimate and passionate night after another there.
Sometimes Luvia would also run into Dorothy, but she did not mind. After all, it was not the first time the two of them had stayed overnight at Shade's home together. Luvia treated it as a small embellishment to life.
On extremely rare occasions, she had also encountered Miss Galina staying overnight at 6 Saint Derain Square. That night had been quite thrilling for the Outlander. The bashful Purple-Eyed Girl and the Duchess, who seemed bold but was actually just as shy, performed Tango for Two with him.
Afterward, Miss Galina praised Luvia to Shade, saying that the female diviner truly deserved to be called a lady who had attained knightly purity. Meanwhile, when Shade visited the Seer Association to appraise Founding, Luvia privately complained to him that it was actually true that Witches' bodies tended toward perfection in every respect:
"Can they really be considered normal humans? What could ordinary young ladies possibly use to compare with them?"
"Since they do not like men anyway, why should ordinary girls compare themselves to them? Besides, your eyes can compare with theirs."
"So all you fancy are my eyes?"
After asking that, Luvia regretted it a little, feeling as though she were throwing a small tantrum. Fortunately, Shade could always satisfy her. The young Outlander smiled and replied:
"If you think I only like your eyes, you can stay tonight. I'll prove that I like all of you."
Luvia gave him a reproachful pat, but she did indeed stay that night.
