The 14th day of the Month of Flourishing Flowers, Thursday. Clear weather.
After breakfast, Shade helped Emilia carry her two large suitcases off the ship and back to Belinder Manor.
Quite a few people had come to see the Elf Girl off. After all, Little Liana was simply too lovable.
The manor house's double doors were pushed open. Emilia and Little Liana walked out together, then stopped and turned around.
Miss Sylvia stroked the little creature's head, regretting that she could not keep one herself. Angelina, meanwhile, hugged Emilia with reddened eyes, looking as though she might burst into tears at any moment.
The pointy-eared girl standing beside the Little Unicorn with the Ocarina of Time on her back, however, did not look sad at all:
"Angelina, be strong. We'll see each other again."
She gave Angelina a hug as well, then embraced Dorothy, Siris, Miss Swift, Fiona, Tifa, Matilda, and the other young ladies who had come to see her off in turn.
Finally, it was Shade's turn. The girl, who harbored certain little thoughts, hugged Shade too. She stared at him for several seconds before finally offering only her thanks:
"Shade, thank you for hosting me this summer. I had a wonderful time in Moon Bay. After school starts, I'll continue working as the Library Administrator Assistant. See you at the Academy."
Luvia, standing nearby, thought that there was definitely something going on between those two.
And so, on that bright Thursday morning, everyone bid farewell to the elf who had spent the summer with them.
