Miss Writer smiled brilliantly and reached for the small basket containing fresh clothes and toiletries.
"Come on. I packed your things too. Leave Little Mia behind, and let's go."

She pulled Shade to the basement, where they frolicked and played in the hot spring. Light snow drifted through the woodland tonight, and sentimental Dorothy could not bear to leave such a beautiful scene. She even dragged Shade out for a walk with her in the snow before entering the hot spring with him.
Then, at ten o'clock, the young lady who had been entwined with Shade suddenly pushed him away.
"Time's up. Time to switch!"
