"After more than a decade of investigation, the Angel Level Relic's currently confirmed fundamental properties are as follows:
Upon touch, it displays an individual's basic information, such as name, physical condition, Soul State, and so on. This information cannot be altered, but an individual's destiny can be influenced by adding entirely new information to the card."
The Doctor's explanation was very simple. Presumably, the Academy had not told the group leaders any more detailed information about the relic. Priest Augustus had also finished reading the parchment and asked Luvia:
"Annette, have you heard of this relic at the Seer Association?"
To everyone's surprise, Luvia nodded.
"When Saint Byron's first acquired this relic, it invited the Association to conduct some joint containment experiments. But information on Angel Level Relics is not publicly disclosed, so I may know even less about it than the Doctor. Because of certain events last year, I learned that this card-shaped relic can significantly affect the Dice Story Collection, which is also Angel Level."
The Dice Story Collection was a special relic that allowed players to control an ordinary person in completing an event by rolling dice and making decisions. Shade had participated twice before, but both times, he had been the one controlled.
The first time was during Margaret's visit to Tobesk last winter. Iluna controlled Mortal's Luck, working with a professor from The Truth Society and cultists who worshiped Mr. Misfortune to capture "Jack the Thief." The second time was this summer at Moon Bay, when Bella controlled Outsider Traveler Miss Charlotte atop Belinder Big Ben, joining the Ring Arcanists of the Dawnchaser Club in Daytime Murder Chase.
The controlled subjects in the Story Collection displayed information such as their traits and abilities to the players, which was rather similar to the Fate Weaver Card.
