Shade did not know what to say. He reached out and stroked Little Mia, but he was not particularly shocked. If Dorothy knew, then she knew.
"Don't tell anyone else about this. That Luvia..."
"From the past? From the future? Or perhaps some nonexistent variation appearing in a certain possibility? Surely it can't be another her from a looping spacetime?"
As she listed possibility after possibility, she had actually guessed the answer. Shade realized that he had truly underestimated Dorothy. Even though he prided himself on respecting the development of every young lady, he sometimes still unconsciously fell into the sin of Pride.
"I always think I'm good at appreciating your beauty, yet at some moment in life, I always discover that your charm is inexhaustible."
"Shade, why are you suddenly saying something like that? It's not time to rest for the night yet."
Dorothy was somewhat embarrassed, but also a little excited, because she had finally found a secret belonging only to herself and Shade, one that even Leisha did not know.
"I'll keep this secret. But whenever I think that one day in the future, perhaps that sort of 'elder sister' might appear in the same bed as me, I get very excited."

Shade leaned his head forward and asked
