Bill Schneider nodded solemnly.
"Whatever weapon it is looking for, I am almost certain its attempt to break the seal will never succeed. I mentioned before that its power is currently divided. For the sealed portion to break free, it needs not only the right method, but also the right time. The time has not yet come. No method can release it now."
"But what if it succeeds?"
"Yes, what if? This is not something we can gamble on."
The doctor let out a long sigh.
"Our plan needs to be adjusted. I will not be going to the island for the time being. I need to make some tools in Tobesk to prevent the worst-case scenario. I had originally planned to play cat and mouse with it on the island, but now it seems that if I truly encounter it, I may be the one in danger. That blood... no, I absolutely cannot come into contact with that kind of blood in my current state. Otherwise, the balance I worked so hard to establish will immediately be broken."
"Will you lose control?"
"It would be worse than losing control."
The doctor did not explain further. Shade guessed that perhaps the power of the Demon King within him would be released.
"So I need to make additional preparations in Tobesk. And if I do not go to the island, Black Hand-Tifron will not be able to figure out what exactly is behind you. It will have to act with far more caution."
"Then what should I do? We cannot simply let it act unchecked, can we? I will continue searching for traces of the Demon and keep watch for news of that so-called weapon. What else can I do?"
Shade asked, and the doctor shook his head.
"No, do nothing
