Priest Augustus nodded.
"The Eternal Slumber Scripture you brought back some time ago contains much ancient knowledge and many techniques. The Soul-Soothing Angel, the fourth angel of that ancient God of Death, was originally responsible for guarding eternal silence. I can now display part of its power and suppress the strength of a specific soul to its lowest point."
Shade asked:
"Can you go to Fatumonst Island and help?"
"I can. Winter is about to end, and there is not much at the church that requires my involvement. If you need me, you can ask for my help at any time."
The priest then reminded him:
"But regarding the story of Baron Samir and Lady Halonin, I think you should wait until both sides have fully awakened before dealing with the latter. A soul that wished upon calamity and wishes to continue onward must repent and understand its mistakes.
"Although death equally forgives everyone, I think that for the snake you mentioned, the birth of an angry and unwilling soul should also be a good thing."
After the group meeting ended, Shade spoke with the priest alone for a while longer. The priest was quite willing to help on Fatumonst Island, though Shade still needed to figure out how to get him there. Shade could ask Grace and Helen for help.
"During the Gravestone Wasteland adventure I mentioned last time, I actually found the Angel Remains collected by the Old God. Those remains were sent to Fatumonst Island by the Fifth Epoch Witch Empresses. When you go to that island, Priest, you can also try to sense their location."
The priest was not especially anxious about this.
"As long as I can help you. But you have been busy ever since the Year-End Festival.
