Although Ellie had put it simply, Adele understood what she meant:
"You mean you don't want to come with me, but you want me to send the cat back to the ship, right?"
"Here, dangerous."
"You should come back with me too."
"No. Mission, responsibility."
Ellie shook her head and tried to take Little Mia off the top of her head, but clearly, she couldn't do it.
Adele, who knew nothing, felt as though she had grasped the truth:
"He gave you a secret mission, didn't he?"
Ellie thought for a moment.
"Not mission. Responsibility. Break seals, go to mountaintop."
Adele looked at the girl with pity.
"I understand. I don't know what his exact plan is, but his demands of you are far too high. In that case, I'll go with you. The road ahead will probably be difficult, and I can help."
Ellie shook her head again. She tried once more and, after confirming that she could not move the cat on her head, gave up.
"Mountaintop, you go. Help."
"You want me to go directly to the mountaintop?"
"Ship, too."
Adele nodded softly, then quietly chanted a spell to place protective enchantments on the two Little Unicorns and the cat.
"All right. I'll go to the ship first and tell them about your situation. You need to be careful too. Don't push yourselves too hard."
As she spoke, she examined the Little Unicorns and the cat. Confirming that the three of them together would not even fill one pocket, she knew they certainly had no belongings on them. She then took out the two Bent Arcs she had obtained during the battle on the mountain.
"Take these with you. Conditions on the Snow Mountain are getting worse and worse. You'll definitely need them."
