After not seeing each other for a week, Shade naturally performed well that Saturday night. Dorothy even had Leisha step in to save the situation midway through, but in any case, the young ladies were all quite satisfied:

"Did your trip to the Moon Tower yield any results?"

Shade once again explained the matter of the "Moon Egg," but Sister Devlin did not question him further. After he finished, she reached out with her right hand and grasped the dark gold scythe formed from her Destiny Ring:
