Shade smiled as he congratulated Miss MacDonald. Back in his hometown, this had always been what made him happiest:

"I only offered a tiny bit of help. Your paper itself was excellent, though I'd be happy to keep helping you review it afterward. But what are you doing here? Hasn't the library's ownership still not been transferred?"

"Mr. Laibury delivered the library keys to Fragrant Residence over the weekend, so Teacher asked me to bring people here and get the place cleaned up first."

Miss MacDonald said with a smile, then leaned closer to Shade and lowered her voice:

"Also, Teacher asked me to tell you that the Council has sent another Witch here, so don't go to Fragrant Residence today. Teacher seems rather upset."

Shade had already decided that, no matter what, he had to visit Wei Ge:

"So that Witch from the distant place has already arrived?"

"Yes. When I left half an hour ago, that lady was checking the human tissue taken from the cemetery on Friday night in the Underground Palace beneath the residence."

Shade nodded.

"Then do you need my help here?"

The tall young woman immediately shook her head.

"No, it's just cleaning the house. We can handle such a trivial matter ourselves. Mr. Watson, go take care of your own business first."

"All right. I'll also make time to visit Wei Ge. You've worked hard. By the way, your dress looks very beautiful today."

"Really?"

Miss MacDonald asked with a smile. She lightly lifted the edges of her skirt with both hands and spun around before Shade.

"You really know how to talk. I do rarely wear this dress, though. After all, there's no need to dress so flamboyantly in the laboratory. Red suits me, doesn't it?"

"Yes.
