Hearing Leisha's words, Wei Ge suddenly blushed, as though she had thought of something. Angelina beside Leisha reacted the same way. It seemed Angelina truly was well suited to studying under Wei Ge.
Wei Ge then invited Iluna and Leisha to stay for lunch. The young ladies all agreed and went to their rooms to change in preparation for the meal. Later, while Shade was sharing the information he had obtained from the Bloodkin with Wei Ge in the study, the witch glanced at the door and lowered her voice to ask him:
"While we were preparing the ritual in the Underground Palace just now, I heard Miss Bayes say that Leisha Cavendish is also a Chosen One?"
"Yes. Didn't Galina tell you last night?"
Shade was somewhat surprised. He had assumed Galina had already told Wei Ge everything the night before.
"We spent all last night talking about the stories of you and her. She kept retelling those old stories about how she tested you and made you search for things like the Holy Grail and Everflowing Wine."
Wei Ge spoke with some dissatisfaction. Thinking of those stories from the past, Shade could not help but smile as well.
"That really is Galina's style. Yes, Leisha truly is one, but she is only a quarter of a Chosen One. Their circumstances are rather special. I'll explain it to you later."
Wei Ge asked in surprise:
"Then doesn't that make the Cavendish Family bloodline a little too exceptional? Galina is a Great Witch, Leisha is a Chosen One, and Angelina is an apprentice candidate. Three such special individuals have appeared in this family within three generations. Is that really normal?"
There were actually five. The Twin Princes' identities as time candidates were also remarkable, but Shade would not mention them
