On Wednesday morning, the sound of rain pattering outside the window and Little Mia scratching at the door woke Shade together. The young ladies who had fallen asleep beside him were still deeply asleep, while the sounds of Winnie making breakfast had already begun to come from outside the door.
Red Butterfly Day was about to end. Leisha hurriedly left home without even eating breakfast. During breakfast, Shade again asked Dorothy about her condition, and Miss Writer felt quite well:
"Last night's situation should have just been an accident during the Chosen One of Creation's story. As long as we avoid that period and do not undergo Fusion again, it should be fine."
But Shade was still worried about it. For now, however, Dorothy and Leisha truly seemed to be fine.
Wei Ge's plans for today were apparently all outdoors. As Shade said goodbye to the young ladies at home and prepared to leave, he was still hoping that the City of Scholars would not be rainy like Tobesk. Fortunately, outside the Blue Ink Library was a bright, sunny morning.
Megan had not left last night. When Shade arrived at Fragrant Residence that morning, she was still moving about inside the house, clearly intending to enter the Council with Shade and Wei Ge at noon.
But the activities Wei Ge had arranged for herself and Shade clearly did not include Megan. The Witches of Chaos had originally worried that Megan wanted to accompany them, but Miss Edwardz saw through Wei Ge's thoughts at once:
"Since you're looking forward to today's date so much, I won't disturb you two. Didn't you want your student to become my apprentice? I'll stay at your house today and have a chat with her.
"Still, don't play outside for too long. Come back for lunch
