"Will Miss Sylvia be coming over tonight?"

After Shade saw Flora off, Winnie asked him with a smile. The answer came at eleven that night. The lights in the house had already been turned off, but footsteps suddenly sounded from the basement.

Sylvia crept upstairs, feeling her way through the dark living room before opening the Master Bedroom door. She found that the gas lamp by the bed was still lit, and Shade was propped against the pillows reading.

The young witch let out a sigh of relief:

"I thought I might disturb your rest~ No one else came tonight, huh? Aren't Little Mia and the Dragon Egg here with you?"

As she spoke, she closed the door behind her. Shade set down his book and answered:

"Winnie said you'd most likely come tonight, so she kept the Dragon Egg and Little Mia in the next room. Do you want to see them?"

Sylvia complained softly:

"Shade, don't tell me you think I came here this late just to visit them?"

Taking Shade's outstretched hand, she climbed onto the bed, smiling as she wrapped her arms around his neck before kissing him fiercely.

Having not seen each other for a week, Sylvia was rather excited. Even Winnie and Little Mia in the next room thought she was being a little too noisy. But Sylvia had her reasons. Neither Flora nor Wei Ge knew she had secretly slipped over in the middle
