"The containment method is to wrap it up when not in use and avoid aiming it at the outside world for long periods. Otherwise, it will spontaneously pull all nearby objects, and even living people, into the mirror world. And once they are pulled in that way, it is very difficult to find a way back to the normal world."

"Old Dad John, can you appraise this relic for me?"

Shade thought for a moment before asking.

"You want to sell it?"

The old man glanced at Shade.

"Though it is only Document Level, its containment method is simple and its effect is quite practical. If you want to sell it to me, I am willing to pay 1,200 Pounds."

Old John's place allowed bargaining. Since he had opened at 1,200 Pounds, the upper limit should be around 1,400. By that estimate, this relic really counted as one of the more valuable things Shade had acquired.

"I do not intend to sell it for now."

"It will not be of much use if you keep it. You might as well sell it to me, then use the Gold Pounds you get to exchange for a practical thaumaturgy."

"Oh, Old Dad John, I still need to think about it."

Shade put away the mirror. The old man shook his head rather helplessly.

"Since you are not selling it, I will charge you an appraisal fee."

"Of course. But before that, we can discuss the special blood."
