"You have all three of your ring Spirit Runes, but you still haven't obtained Slumber for the Words of Sublimation. That won't do, Shade. I'm not certain whether Sleeping Princess can substitute for Slumber in constructing the Words of Sublimation."

The Spirit Runes corresponding to the Words of Sublimation did not necessarily have to match exactly, but they had to be extremely similar. Moreover, even if similar Spirit Runes were used as replacements, no more than two of the five Spirit Runes corresponding to the Words of Sublimation could be runes of similar concepts. Otherwise, it would make subsequent advancement difficult.

"And once you master the power of the Sleeping Princess, engraving Slumber afterward will become more than ten times harder."

"As long as I use the Time Key next time, I can almost certainly obtain Enlightenment. So I need to acquire Slumber before I use the key again."

Shade summed it up. This was also what concerned him.

"Yes. Also, you can write to Saint Byron's to ask about this. You needn't directly say that Sleeping Princess is replacing Slumber. You can phrase it differently and ask in an academic-discussion tone. Since Saint Byron's has collected this set of Words of Sublimation, it must have records of ways to substitute the Spirit Runes."
