After saying goodbye to Iluna on the water and agreeing to meet again on Thursday to exchange information, Shade took Mia and slipped back into the dense forest, preparing to head home.
The forest was still shrouded in thick fog, but the traces of the Divine Ritual on the ground no longer glowed. The battle in the distance had presumably ended as well.

"I can understand young people pursuing beautiful members of the opposite sex, but you should keep the scale—and the number—under control."
"Priest, you really were here long ago!"
Mia poked her head out of Shade's arms and cooperatively gave a "Meow~," seeming to find this rather amusing.
"I arrived when you rushed out of the forest. You hid quite well. If you hadn't left the dense woods,
