No matter how reluctant they were, it was time to leave. In the distance, the sound of the library beginning to collapse had already reached them.
The high-ring Witches did not need to pack their own luggage. With a wave of their hands, everything was automatically sorted and packed, then carried by their apprentice, Miss Delago.
The god sat before the bonfire while Shade rose to see them off.
The four of them arrived before the library's enormous doorway. Though Miss Samuel looked disappointed and seemed to want to speak with Shade longer, she still extended her hand. Shade froze for a moment before reaching out and shaking it.
"Mr. Hamilton, this journey has been very interesting to me. I hope we will have another chance to meet."
The bespectacled Witch tightly grasped Shade's hand. After releasing it, she glanced at her palm and laughed happily:
"How fascinating. When I grow old, I will certainly be glad that I had such an experience in my youth."

Seeing that her teacher had not spoken first, Miss Delago softly said to Shade:
"Thank you for your help, Mr. Hamilton. I am only mid-ring, so after leaving the valley, I may find it difficult to remember this memory. But thank you, truly."
Unexpectedly, she kissed Shade on the cheek, then retreated behind Miss Olanord. Her large crimson tail swayed slightly behind her. Mia found this rather curious and turned to look at her own short tail.
