That evening, in the Duchess's manor in the Tobesk Southern Suburbs, Miss Galina held a teacup as she spoke to Shade, who sat across from her on the sofa.

Holding the cat, Shade thanked Tifa, who was pouring tea, his face full of worry.

Shade said, then heard Tifa laughing. But when he looked up at the beautiful black-haired Maid, she clearly had no expression at all. Instead, she opened her lovely eyes wide and blinked twice in confusion.

"Speaking of good luck, can I stay at the manor tonight?"

Shade asked. Miss Galina raised an eyebrow.
