Two months later, the first Gigai was created through the joint efforts of Ye Wuyue and Orochimaru.
Calling it a collaboration was somewhat flattering. Ye Wuyue had barely contributed anything. Even after constantly observing at Orochimaru's side, he still had not fully learned it, only grasping the basics.
A man's body lay on the experimental table before them, identical in appearance to Orochimaru.
"Heh heh heh heh, just as I thought. Hashirama Cells are the ideal material for creating Gigai. Once the cells' resistance is suppressed to its lowest point, there is no need to worry about incompatibility with other materials.
"Moreover, I installed Sharingan into this body as well, and there was no rejection. That means other Kekkei Genkai may also be integrated into a Gigai.
"One day, I may even be able to create the First Hokage's Sage Body!" Orochimaru looked at the Gigai on the experimental table as though admiring a work of art, his eyes gleaming.
Ye Wuyue watched Orochimaru with a hint of envy. Talent really did matter sometimes. The Gigai Creation Method had been like an incomprehensible heavenly tome to him, yet Orochimaru could not only understand it, but even improve upon it, incorporating things from the Naruto World into Gigai technology.
Orochimaru admired it for a while longer before sealing the body away.
"Aren't you going to try out that new body?" Ye Wuyue asked curiously.
"Living Corpse Reincarnation requires quite a bit of preparation. We can discuss it later. More importantly, Sasuke-kun, you have been staying here with me all this time. Do you not plan to return directly to Konoha?" Orochimaru turned and asked Ye Wuyue.
Having researched Gigai technology together for so long, the two had become much more familiar with each other. They could now be considered partners.
