History

Origins

The Lu Clan was one of the Thirteen Royal Clans under the ancient Human Ancestor Hall. After the Human Ancestor Hall collapsed, the royal clans scattered across the All Heavens and Myriad Realms; the Lu Clan suffered major losses but retained enough strength to occupy and rebuild within a major realm. 53 101

Lu Changkong, a direct descendant of the Lu Clan, left after losing the contest for patriarch to his elder brother, Lu Ming. His departure was not attributed to an irreconcilable blood feud, but to his refusal to accept Lu Ming as family head. 53

Dark Continent Exile

The branch established by Lu Changkong became a powerful Immortal family in the Dark Continent. Five months before Lu Yuan began rebuilding it, the Dark Immortal Hall led a sudden attack involving an Emperor Venerable, five Dominators, and more than a dozen Dominators from other forces. 41

Lu Changkong released Emperor Venerable-level strength and chose self-exile, preserving most of the clan despite the deaths of several core members and several hundred direct descendants. Tens of millions of collateral descendants remained scattered and vulnerable to hostile forces. 33 41

Lu Thirteen and Lu Seven—two Emperor Venerables dispatched by Lu Ming—had secretly guarded Lu Changkong's branch for thousands of years. They did not intervene in the disaster because Lu Changkong forbade it. 52 53

Rebuilding in Qingling City

Lu Yuan located surviving relatives, including Lu Changming and Lu Changyue, and sought Qingling Star Travel's protection for the remaining clansmen. Qing Chuan agreed to shelter them from Heavenly Sovereign-level attacks in exchange for Lu Yuan leading Qingling Star Travel's team into the Divine Martial Heavenly Ruins. 34 36 40

More than 250,000 surviving clansmen later gathered under Lu Yuan. At that time, the group included five Great Heavenly Saints, thirty-five Heavenly Saints, 350 Earthly Saints, and 5,700 Saints. 37

When branch elders challenged his authority, Lu Yuan invoked his position as first heir and acting clan leader. He executed Lu Meng and another dissenter, then ordered the reclamation of every seized Lu property. 37 38

The branch recovered six former properties—including two ore veins—and acquired more than 800 million Star Source Crystals, land deeds, Lesser Worlds, and Lesser Secret Realms. Resources were placed under a merit-based distribution system rather than distributed freely. 40 41

Decline and Dissolution of the Local Branch

Over the next two centuries, the Qingling branch gained wealth, hired more than one hundred guards ranging from Heavenly Venerate to Great Heavenly Venerate, and established itself within the Qingling Supreme Domain. Its security and resources also produced a generation of spoiled, arrogant descendants. 89

Lu Yuan returned and judged the clan's condition unacceptable. Lu Lantian, a dissolute descendant who attempted to abduct a young girl, was publicly executed; Lu Yuan then planned to retain only the clan's best members through a harsh selection process. 89 91

After further internal decay and conspiracy, Lu Yuan declared the local Lu Family finished and ordered Lu Changming to return to the main Lu Clan with Lu Qingshan and Lu Fangyun. 96 99

Return to the Main Clan

Lu Thirteen gave Lu Yuan a Portal token capable of transporting him directly to the Lu Clan. Lu Yuan eventually used it to enter the Lu Realm with Qing Wuji. 53 129

Lu Ming recognized Lu Yuan immediately through their bloodline and received him as Lu Changkong's great-grandson. Lu Yuan explained the threats facing the universe and proposed relocating the entire Lu Clan to All Heavens City; Lu Ming accepted and supported the decision. 130

The clan subsequently recalled members and external assets over several months. A limited number of members remained outside temporarily to continue collecting resources before the final withdrawal. 131
