Chapter 1809: Tensions Intensify
After Mr. Truman's speech ended, many people called the Presidential Palace to schedule appointments, wanting to speak with Mr. Truman privately.
His speech tonight had revealed far too many shocking details. Some people could not even believe it was true, or wondered if it was merely their own baseless speculation.
They needed to repeatedly confirm whether what they had guessed and what Mr. Truman had expressed were actually the same thing! But that did not stop them from sending some of the information back to their home countries first, and the entire world became more delicate because of the speech.
The leaders of the World Development Committee Member States learned of the news and merely smiled.

That included the massive diversion of resources toward the Amelia Region. It had clearly been the previous emperor's decision, but people attributed it to the Prime Minister's "advice."
When the Prime Minister heard this amusing rumor, he told the others that if he had possessed such influence at the time, enough to make Your Majesty the Emperor decide what to do and what not to do, then these things would not have happened today.
