Shuberia Yin Wang is a legend of Nagaril, a... not very interesting, but very captivating legend.
Such a king appears in many historical documents and even myths of Nagaril, often playing a negative role. For example, in the Pogu Yalan Sutra, the indigenous religion of Nagaril, Shuberia Yin Wang is described as having "square eyes and long horns, and for every person he kills, the horn grows a hair longer."
In many sources, Shuberia Yin Wang is portrayed as a dictator, tyrant, demon incarnation, or even the cleansing messenger of the Great Destruction, representing brutality and destruction.
Many people, including some scholars of international history, believe that Shuberia Yin Wang may not have actually existed. At least, no palace where he lived has been found so far, and no historical Ruins with actual material have been discovered. There are only some manuscripts and religious descriptions. He is very likely a historical figure fabricated by the Ruling Class for certain purposes.
However, some people believe that Shuberia Yin Wang did exist, otherwise there would be a lot of records documenting a person who did not exist.
This debate has always existed, including among the ruling class of Nagaril, who are also searching for evidence of Shuberia Yin Wang's existence, all because of a legend.
Legend has it that Shuberia Yin Wang ruled over an area far exceeding present-day Nagaril, conquering almost all the surrounding countries and establishing the largest dynasty of its time in the region of present-day Nagaril.
Some sources describe it this way. "Shuberia Yin Wang loved gold and jewels. To demonstrate his authority, which was no less than that of a god, he ordered that all roads leading to the capital be paved with gold and that jewels and flames be used to adorn the night. Even the Mahakala dared not descend upon the Royal Capital, so it was always daytime here..."
In various legends, Shuberia Yin Wang, besides being cruel and ruthless, had another important characteristic: he was wealthy.
Some unofficial historical accounts claim that he controlled a special river in which gold bricks rose and fell like fish, and that he possessed the most treasure in the world, making him the richest person in the world.
Every year, the Provincial Governor, the High Priest, and even the Central Government of Nagaril would pay attention to the search for the Ruins of Shuberia Yin Wang, hoping to discover the mountains of gold and jewels before others, so as to consolidate their power and even pave the way for their unification of the whole of Nagaril.
Similar mythical legends are very popular, and a small group of people in the Bayer Federation also know about this tyrannical king, so when he showed this parchment, some people couldn't help but exclaim.
The exclamations of these people quickly piqued the curiosity of the bewildered crowd around them. With their extremely patient and detailed descriptions, people, including journalists, soon learned what Shuberia Yin Wang truly represented.
Of course, these onlookers, who possess knowledge that normal people do not have, have no direct relationship with Lin Qi, nor do they have any business dealings with him.
What followed was an even bigger sensation, because Lin Qi said they might be able to pinpoint the exact location of the Shuberia Yin Wang dynasty through this sheepskin!
To this end, he also invited some geologists and archaeologists to explain it to the public.
The general idea is that, according to the historical and mythological background stories of Nagaril, Nagaril should have originally had mountains, but these mountains can no longer be found. This is the main reason why people believe that many stories combining history and mythology are fictional, as they cannot find real and reliable landmarks in reality.
These experts explained these issues through crustal movements and inferred from some descriptions that if Shuberia Yin Wang really existed, then his Royal Capital should be in the depths of Nagaril, in the untouched primeval forest.
If anyone could remain calm and rational enough, they would realize that these experts were far too well-prepared, so well-prepared that they even considered the tectonic movements and the ensuing tsunami that destroyed all landmarks, so well-prepared that they could easily deduce a general location.
It's worth noting that this is something that even the Nagaril government and some international experts and scholars couldn't achieve, yet they did it easily, speaking with such certainty as if you could dig up gold just by going to their designated spot and digging!
That evening, almost every Television Station broadcast the exhibition, which featured not only enormous Leopard Lion and leopards never before seen by the public, but also the Leopard Lion- skin coat that Lin Qi had given to Sai Weiruila, and the legend of Shuberia Yin Wang was of great interest to the public.
People were captivated by this legend. The opening of the country and close exchanges brought about many things that people had never imagined. Since people did not know how to distinguish between truth and falsehood, they simply treated it as true and discussed it heatedly.
Some individuals or organizations have even spontaneously begun to study the history and past of Nagaril, and these things have even sparked a trend in society, a trend of adventure and getting rich quick.
"I heard you bought 600,000 gold bars from Jinhui Bank ..." Mr. Truman revealed a little of the information he had received, "It seems you have a big plan!"
People often overlook some small actions, and even if they see them, they will subconsciously ignore them. However, some actions that are slightly larger will attract people's attention.
Lin Qi was enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea, nodded without hesitation. His plan had been almost perfectly completed during this period. Wo Delike's influence was enormous, and he had persuaded some people to maintain a neutral stance of non-interference, which was enough.
Next came Mr. Truman's task: to persuade the President to establish diplomatic relations with Nagaril. This would mean more people would be granted permission to enter Nagaril; they could be ordinary people, explorers, not necessarily investors.
Establishing diplomatic relations is not a simple matter; it involves changes in the international relations of the Bayer Federation. Therefore, Mr. Truman wanted to make a final confirmation as to whether doing so would be beneficial to the Federal.
They agreed to sit down together one afternoon to discuss these matters, and as soon as he opened his mouth, Mr. Truman mentioned what Lin Qi had been doing recently: he had been buying a large number of gold bars, which was not normal.
Lin Qi didn't try to be perfunctory at all, and gave the other party the answer they wanted very accurately, "That's right..." He casually took out a somewhat... old gold coin from his pocket, placed it on the table, and pushed it over.
Mr. Truman stared at Lin Qi for a while before turning his attention to the gold coins on the table. He picked them up, and the heavy feel of the gold didn't change because of its appearance.
This is a crudely made gold coin, and it looks very old and worn.
The gold coin's uneven printing was already somewhat blurry, and it had some grease and something like rust spots on it, but it has to be said that this thing really looks like some kind of ancient coin.
"These are designs for gold coins that may have existed during the Shuberia Yin Wang, based on some records I could find that were designed by historians. What do you think?"
Mr. Truman raised an eyebrow. "It's fake?"
Lin Qi nodded. "This is a sample."
Mr. Truman shook his head and refocused his attention on the gold coin in his hand, weighing it in his hand again. "Isn't it pure gold?"
While savoring the savory pastries, Lin Qi explained, "Back then, there was no technology to refine pure gold. These are all gold alloys with some silver and other metals added, which also helps reduce our production costs."
He spoke shamelessly about fabricating the story, without even trying to hide his motives.
Mr. Truman looked at the gold coins in his hand again, somewhat amazed by Lin Qi's speed, which had caught him off guard. He had thought that Lin Qi would wait until everything was settled before taking action, but he hadn't expected that Lynch would start preparing before the results were even available. This was a very bold guy who dared to gamble.
"I can bring these things up with the President, but there's a question: why is the Federal doing this?" Mr. Truman returned the gold coin to Lin Qi, his expression turning serious.
"The country is not a tool of capitalists or certain individuals. Everything we do is for the country and every citizen living in it. We can be selfish as ordinary people, but we cannot do that now. We must be responsible for everyone."
"Convince me, Lin Qi!"
Lin Qi ate the pastry in his hand in a few bites, took a sip of tea, which made Truman somewhat amused and exasperated. They were discussing the future of a country or even several countries, but Lin Qi... he didn't seem nervous at all.
After letting out a satisfied sigh, Lin Qi asked a direct question, "Mr. Truman, do you think there will be another war like this World War that affects the entire world?"
Mr. Truman nodded without hesitation and replied, "Yes, definitely!"
"Why?" Lin Qi asked quickly, following after him almost as soon as he finished speaking.
Why do World War continue to break out? This is a serious question, and not so easy to answer. While Mr. Truman was organizing his thoughts, Lin Qi answered the question himself.
"Because this World War was more like a regular brawl between gangs. They didn't even use weapons like daggers. The injured were just wounded, and it didn't instill any fear in them."
"They lost this time and were badly beaten, but they are not afraid. They will gather their strength and the war will break out when they believe they can defeat their opponents."
"Second World War war is inevitable, and the date will not be far off—ten, fifteen, or at the latest, twenty years!"
"Mr. Truman, are we... the Federal, prepared for the Second World War?"
