Within the Troluo City, important locations such as the City Lord's Mansion, the Military and Political Hall, and the armory were immediately taken over by the Hobgoblin army.

There were sporadic ripples, with the city's City Defense Army, who had sworn to follow the Earl to the death, rising up in resistance. Hundreds of them charged the monster army, shouting "For Earl Dawson!" "For the glory of Troluo City!" But the Hobgoblin simply stood in silent ranks, raising their spears.

"Bang!"

After the deafening gunfire.

Everything fell silent.

The Troluo City was filled with the smell of Gunsmoke and blood.

These rebels were hung on the city walls, becoming a horrific sight within the city. People secretly peered at the corpses riddled with bullets and dripping blood, their fear and unease intensifying.

"Don't go out."

"Don't look..."

The residents closed their doors and windows tightly, covered their children's eyes, trembled, and prayed incessantly.

But soon they were asked to come outside to greet them.

There was a loud knocking on the door, and outside stood the Hobgoblin faces of Lizardmen.

The children burst into tears, but the adults quickly covered their mouths in alarm.

No one dared to resist.

Even though the Hobgoblin and Lizardmen are the most law-abiding and power-following beings in the Ember Nest, one can still see that these dragon-blooded monsters are suppressing their violent nature, waiting for a rebel to appear and tear them apart.

In the process, some people may be killed by the Dragon Vein Kin who cannot restrain themselves, but no one will notice, and no one will investigate.

Despite the pervasive atmosphere of terror, the Troluo City maintained a basic level of order.

Everyone knows that the era of the Red Dragon's rule over the Troluo City has begun.

But no one knows when this era will end.

And what it is like.

The residents were driven to the Central Square by the monster army. This place was once the most prosperous place in Troluo City, but now it was filled with a silent terror.

Whether they were nobles, soldiers, commoners, or even beggars, whether they wore fine robes, tattered clothes, or coarse linen, they were all driven here by the Hobgoblin and Lizardmen.

People were filled with unease, and no one dared to speak. They were like criminals being led to the execution ground, quietly awaiting their Final Judgment.

They waited like that.

Suddenly, the City Defense Army who had been recruited and were standing at the door looked into the distance, their voices trembling, as did the residents.

"Oh my god."

"What is that?"

May the gods protect you.

The Wyvern stood close together, like a surging dark cloud, densely packed and pressing in from afar, almost obscuring the sun.

However, the Wyvern were merely servants who led the king's vanguard.

They parted to make way for the enormous Red Dragon as it slowly approached and landed, its wings flapping.

Keosius cast a huge shadow on the ground, which for a moment almost enveloped everyone, before he landed with a thud in the central square of Troluo City.

The enormous figure appeared in the center of the square.

Dust flew everywhere.

Only after the smoke cleared could people barely make out his appearance.

It was a terrifying Red Dragon.

Enormous and strong, it is the embodiment of power.

Its sweeping horns resemble a majestic crown, and its golden pupils seem to burn with raging flames.

When that gaze swept down upon them, people felt an instinctive fear of the powerful creature, and couldn't help but lower their heads. Some of the weaker ones even knelt down on the ground.

The terrifying monster opened its mouth, and everyone immediately felt a scalding, burning heat rushing towards them, which immediately reminded them of the legend of the "Incarnation of Flame".

"Hello, residents of Troluo City."

The sound was like thunder.

Viscount Burton was standing at the front with a forced smile, was so frightened that he collapsed to the ground.

Keosius simply stated calmly, "I know that the Troluo City has a glorious history. Your ancestors once resisted the attacks of the White Dragon and Frost Giant. You were once a renowned City of Might."

His tone faltered.

"But all of that is in the past now."

"This is my territory now."

"I will establish a new order here, one that belongs only to the Ember Nest, and I will grant the most complete destruction to any who defy it."

"I will rule this place. Who agrees, and who disagrees?"

Keosius looked down at the tens of thousands of citizens from his high vantage point, his golden vertical pupils carrying an invisible pressure as they swept over the nobles, soldiers, and commoners, but not one dared to meet his gaze.

A silent atmosphere filled the square.

Suddenly, a voice attracted everyone's attention, including Keosius's.

Viscount Burton lay prostrate on the ground, trembling, and whispered, "Burning, the Embers of the Burned King."

When he saw the Red Dragon's gaze fall upon him, his body trembled even more violently, sweat pouring down his fleshy face. But he still mustered his courage, raised his arm, and shouted, "The Old Era has passed! Welcome the Embers of the Burned King to rule the Troluo City!"

Ignoring the disdainful looks from those around him, Viscount Burton staggered to his feet and continued shouting, "Embers of the Burned King!"

"Embers of the Burned King!"

"He will rule the Troluo City, and he will rule the world!"

First, the Hobgoblin Lizardmen raised their weapons and cheered.

Following this, the residents of Troluo City, urged on by the monsters, were forced to join the celebration that came at the cost of the city's fall.

Keosius watched the cheering monster and the crowd.

He could see that these dragon vein monsters harbored countless brutal desires. Their reddened eyes, their gaping maws spewing hot steam, their hideous scales and horns showed that they craved slaughter and needed to vent the boiling blood within them.

They were only managing to maintain order thanks to Keosius's discipline. If the Red Dragon hadn't personally arrived, a bloody catastrophe, no less devastating than the "Sorrow of Northwind Fortress," would likely have occurred within the city, something he certainly didn't want to see.

The regime that Keosius hoped to establish was an orderly, multi-ethnic, and diverse empire.

Serving him, they become powerful and capable of growing stronger.

He didn't want to create a chaotic killing force, which would only bring trouble everywhere, just like those Abyssal Devil, who would be attacked by the masses wherever they went.

"This is the brutal bloodline of the Red Dragon. These Dragon Vein Kin can only ever be used as a weapon, and cannot be relied upon to establish a new order."

"Players, I need to control more players."

"Furthermore, I must find a way to suppress the chaos and brutality within the Red Dragon bloodline."

He thought to himself.

Keosius had long realized that the chaos and evil flowing in the Red Dragon's boiling bloodline had, to some extent, influenced his way of thinking.

Brutal, arrogant, and bloodthirsty, he often inadvertently reveals these terrible traits, sometimes without even realizing it himself.
