Winter's Fall (3)
Kasa Everfrost closed his eyes.
He could even feel the light in front of him through his eyelids—it was firelight.
[Maximized Flame Breath]
The overwhelming flames poured down, and in the torrent that bathed Kasa, this incomparably brave Frost Giant Warrior had once killed several White Dragon with his bare hands, was also burned to ashes.
Only a few remnants of the Dragon Scale Armor remained, barely enough to discern its former appearance.
Within the Kingdom Domain, all of Keosius's Spell-like Abilities were greatly enhanced. His breath attack was even comparable to Legendary Spell, instantly obliterating the incredibly powerful Frost Giant who was capable of hand-to-hand combat with the elderly White Dragon.
"This realm is practically my divine kingdom."
Keosius gently flapped his wings and exclaimed.
He gazed at the ice crystal in his hand, which contained a wisp of divine energy.
Although it is extremely thin, its supreme and supreme essence, containing the law of coldness, is undeniable.
Unfortunately, as mentioned before, this power is not compatible with Keosius himself; in fact, it is completely incompatible. If he were to try to use it rashly, it could very well lead to irreversible consequences.
Keosius carefully put the ice crystal into his Dimensional Bag.
Several more messages appeared on the panel.
[You have killed [Child of Winter - Kasa] and gained 18000 XP][Kasa was supposed to lead his people to prosperity and collect faith to awaken their Father God, but he was killed by you. You have been antagonized by a god and have gained the negative status [Frost Giant's Foe]] "Tsk tsk, what a petty god."
"Keosius remarked."
He did not want to easily provoke a god, but the expansion of the Everfrost Tribe and the order of the Embers of the Burned Kingdom had a fundamental conflict of interest.
Since conflict is inevitable, let's just offend this Frost Giant god to the very end, and make sure his faith grows ever weaker, and that he sleeps forever, never to awaken.
Keosius's expression was somewhat ferocious.
"However, let's focus on improving our strength first."
"If you increase your strength, what can a god incarnate do?"
[You choose to upgrade [True Dragon Sorcerer] to level 11][You may choose an additional metamagic feat][You gain the metamagic feat: [Distant Spell]] By utilizing the power of Spellflow, Sorcerer can greatly increase the range and area of effect of their spells, and as Dragon Sorcerer, Keosius's ranged spells are even more powerful.
Next came the part that worried Keosius the most: drawing spells.
[You gain the additional spells [Burning Stone Haze] and [Aerial Maneuvering]] [Burning Stone Haze]
7th Ring Evocation Spell
You are like a moving volcano, with white-hot embers surrounding you and then flying outwards. You will spew out hundreds of tiny, scorching volcanic rocks to strike your enemies and release thick volcanic ash, blinding and suffocating them.
Aerial Maneuvering
4th Ring Transmutation Spell
This spell grants dragons perfect maneuverability in flight. By utilizing changes in space, the caster can perform highly maneuverable maneuvers in the air, such as sudden stops, sharp turns, rolls, and rolling turns.
Keosius let out a long sigh of relief.
A powerful seventh-circle Evocation spell, and a fourth-circle Transmutation spell that has unexpected effects in actual combat.
Although there is no fundamental improvement, they can all achieve the effect of adding wings to a tiger.
For example, [Burning Stone Haze] can be paired with [Control Weather] to create the effect of a large-scale volcanic eruption, while [Aerial Maneuvering] and [Graceful Dragon] can be combined to even achieve the exaggerated effect of sharp-angle turns.
"Since Kasa is dead..."
"Now, we'll have to clean up this mess."
A ferocious smile appeared on Keosius's Dragon Face.
He used the spell "Bag of Greed" to collect Kasa's ashes and remaining equipment, which he then proudly displayed behind him.
North of Trill's Gullet.
The Frost Giant and the retinue of the Embers of the Burned Kingdom simultaneously ceased their battle.
This was not because they loved peace, but purely out of trust in their respective leaders. Once one of them returned, the war would be over, and no more miracles would occur.
Baya gazed anxiously at the sky, muttering to himself, "He will come back, Kasa."
"He was chosen by Lord Solem, it's impossible—"
Before Baya could finish speaking, everyone felt a scorching heat rush towards them. The sound of flapping wings came from afar, and the enormous Red Dragon was getting closer and closer. Beneath it, there was a tattered Dragon Scale Armor, which was even collecting ashes by some unknown means.
Immediately, a fierce cheer erupted from the Embers of the Burned Kingdom's position.
"Oh no! The master burned him to ashes!"
"Indeed, this is the master's great power!"
"Fight for the Great Red Dragon!"
"What did I say? The Embers of the Burned King cannot lose!"
In stark contrast are the grief-stricken and desperate Frost Giant.
"Impossible, impossible!"
"He's clearly Lord Solem's chosen one."
Baya looked blank, shaking his head repeatedly while muttering to himself.
Keosius's golden eyes swept across the battlefield from his vantage point, and he declared arrogantly, "Frost Giant, your leader has been burned to ashes by me!"
"Now, I'm giving you two choices."
"To be a lowly slave of the Embers of the Burned Kingdom..."
"Or—death!"
The Frost Giant had different expressions; some gritted their teeth, unwavering, their eyes filled with hatred for the enemy, while others were already wavering.
These Frost Giant were Neutral Evil beings. In their eyes, combat power was above all else. Kasa defeated them with his great strength, but the Red Dragon in front of him had burned Kasa to ashes.
Suddenly, Baya raised his Dragon Bone Pickaxe, his eyes bloodshot, and shouted, "This Red Dragon is deceiving us!"
"Kasa is Lord Solem's chosen one, he's not dead yet!"
"This Red Dragon is at its last gasp! Warriors of the Everfrost Tribe, charge with me!"
Without hesitation, Baya rushed forward, his fearless demeanor reminiscent of the former Kasa, which stirred the emotions of many Frost Giant. More than thirty Frost Giant Warrior responded to the call.
Most of these Frost Giant were Kasa's comrades in the hunting party, and could be considered "meritorious." They followed in Baya's footsteps, like knights charging towards windmills—charging towards the Red Dragon.
"Thank you for your dedication."
"Let me... practice."
The Red Dragon observed the Frost Giant ' reactions with great interest, surrounded by white-hot embers.
[Burning Stone Haze]
Hundreds of tiny, scorching volcanic rocks were spewed at the charging Frost Giant, while billowing volcanic ash and smoke poured down, engulfing all thirty Frost Giant.
Coughing, wailing, and roaring were constant sounds.
These Frost Giant, once known as "natural disasters," now resembled victims struggling in a turbulent current, utterly powerless.
Seriously, I'm impressed. They released the backup. I'll add an extra chapter later to make up for it, so don't worry.
