Dragon Lord
"Aww!"
Not far away, the broken walls and ruins swayed, and weak roars could be heard.
That was none other than the young White Dragon, Tinia.
She was buried under the collapsed building, feeling excruciating pain all over her body. Her simple mind was unusually chaotic. She only remembered seeing a terrifying red star, and then, as if she had fallen into a dream, only fragmented images remained.
The White Dragon, charred black from being struck, but with an exceptionally tenacious Life Force, struggled to clear away the debris and dragged its wounded body out of the ruins.
The White Dragon head, covered with tiny stones, emerged and slowly opened its eyes.
His vertical pupils suddenly dilated, and his jaw opened slightly.
At that moment, Tinia saw a sight she would never forget in her lifetime.
The Red Dragon stood atop the massive, mountain-like body of the monster, its broad wings outstretched, and it roared with imposing power.
The powerful dragon's nearly twenty-meter-long body was covered with bright, armor-like scales, and the large horn sweeping back on its head resembled a crown. The air was filled with the smell of Sulfur Scent.
The monster beneath her feet emitted a familiar scent; it was Wagnerd, the enemy she had tried to kill countless times over the past century.
"So big, so strong."
Tinia thought to herself with delight.
Her simple mind couldn't hold too many languages, so she could only think of a few words.
From birth, possessing a special bloodline, she was already the most powerful being in her race. Her brothers and sisters in the same nest starved to death because they couldn't snatch food from her mouth, leaving only her as the cub. Even after her mother was killed and she was imprisoned in the Polar Night Demon Tower, Tinia always maintained an instinctive pride and refused to bow down to these lowly humans.
But at this moment, for the first time, the White Dragon saw a being that truly commanded his respect.
The joy of killing her enemy, the admiration for strength, and some other indescribable emotions filled the young White Dragon's heart, making her heart pound and her short, thick tail even begin to sway from side to side.
"Has the White Dragon awakened too?"
Keosius also noticed the White Dragon who had awakened.
Red Dragon breathed a slight sigh of relief, after all, this was his first True Dragon familiar. Although it was called a "White Beast" which sounded a bit cheap, it at least had noble Progenitor Dragon Blood.
It would be a real shame if he were to be struck dead by his own lightning.
"Although he was a scoundrel who almost ruined me, he is a True Dragon after all."
Thinking of this, Keosius let out a soft whistle, and golden Beams of Life Force descended from the sky, showering upon the White Dragon's wounded body and quickly healing it completely.
The Dragon's Breath
However, after hundreds of years of blood-drawing, flesh-cutting, and experiments by Wagnerd, this White Dragon's body was extremely weak. If it were an ordinary White Dragon, it would probably have already gone to meet Tiamat. This spell could only barely heal its external injuries.
"Aww!"
Tinia felt the Life Force gradually returning to her body and let out a pleasant moan.
She pulled herself out of the rubble, came excitedly to Keosius, and bowed down again, pressing her head to the ground in submission, revealing her vulnerable neck.
"."
As Keosius stared at the White Dragon's swaying tail, he suddenly had a strange sense of déjà vu, like seeing the mongrel dog his family kept when he was a child.
But he tried his best to maintain a dignified demeanor and said to the White Dragon, "Keosius Klauberwu Norikesius, your future master, remember this name."
Tinia raised her head slightly and nervously uttered the first word of Draconic she had learned.
"Owner."
"Very good."
Keosius was quite pleased with this.
Due to the magical nature of True Dragon, their mutual submission is contractual in nature, creating an effect similar to the classic Seventh-Circle Spell, Dragonkind Oath.
This proves that the White Dragon truly submitted from the bottom of its heart.
Upon hearing the response, Tinia was overjoyed.
"Owner!"
She repeated the Draconic word that she was still somewhat unfamiliar with.
The White Dragon fawned over the Red Dragon, licking its claws and rubbing its scaly cheek against its thick forelimbs, seemingly expressing affection, while its tail continued to wag incessantly.
But Keosius couldn't help but pull out his front paw, a strange feeling rising in his heart.
"Could it be—"
"Is this White Dragon dragon in its mating season?"
Having no time for such trivial matters, Keosius glanced at the panel, where many messages had already been refreshed. However, he had been focused on the intense battle from beginning to end and had not paid any special attention to them.
Now he can finally browse the refreshed panel information.
[Achievement Obtained: Dragon Lord Dragon Lord
"Dragons are usually proud creatures. To become their master, you may have to spend hundreds of years raising them from an Dragon Egg. But even the weakest White Dragon often turns on those whimsical and overconfident 'masters.' Never try to make a dragon submit unless you have power far greater than that dragon."
However, sometimes, a more powerful dragon will become the master of other dragons; this often happens among the evil Five-Colored Dragon. —Aloysius, Dragon Scholar
Gain the passive trait: [Diluted Progenitor Dragon Bloodline]
You trace your lineage back more than 10,000 years and feel the afterglow of the ancient dragons.
Your size will grow larger, your breath more deadly, and your body will resemble those ancient and powerful ancestral dragons. Your retinue will also share in this immense glory, achieving further evolution. Keosius felt powerful seeds of energy entering his body, flowing with his dragon blood through his fiery Base Blood Vessels, eager to grow and be released.
He closed his eyes slightly, and countless phantoms of the past appeared in his mind.
Those colossal dragons, as large as mountains and in various shapes, roared and spread their wings, which were thousands of meters wide and Sky-Shading the sky. It was hard to imagine that such enormous life forms once existed between heaven and earth.
Further away, one can see an endless expanse of colorful metal discs, the emblem of the Nine-Faced Dragon God Io.
In the lineage passed down through the dragon generations, the god Io chose to concentrate his will, not only to live in the world of elements, but also to bestow life and soul upon the elements themselves in mortal bloodlines. In order to contain the terrifying power of the elements that had gained life, Io had to use immense strength and tenacity to shape the mortal bloodlines.
So he created the most powerful mortal creature: the dragon.
This is also the origin of those original ancestral dragons, many of whom were comparable to gods, including the now famous Tiamat, the Queen of the Five Colored Dragons, and Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon King.
Keosius's body trembled slightly as he finally felt the weight of this force.
"This is the Progenitor Dragon."
So why did it turn out the way it is now?
The dragons of today are a diluted bloodline, a race weakened countless times, yet they remain incredibly powerful, holding a place in every plane. This reminds Keosius of the glorious reign of the dragons in ancient times.
