The Central Great Plains of Fei An Suo, outside Teotihuacan, the former Holy Fadlan.

A hundred-meter-high white city wall stands on the earth, stretching for miles, majestic and magnificent, with huge golden Sun Holy Emblem engraved on the weathered wall.

But even such a tall city wall could not block the "Eternal Sun God Tower" inside the city, nor could it block the towering spire that reached into the clouds.

It was a massive three-story pentagonal spire, with a golden hemispherical top built at a height of sixty-eight stories above the ground, allowing observers anywhere on the Central Plains to look up and gaze upon the sun's disk of the Amanata.

In the past, every Summer Solstice, the sun's disc atop the tower would radiate endless light, bringing peace and warmth to everyone in the city.

This is Teotihuacan, the "Sunlit City".

Any traveler or merchant who has visited this place will be awestruck by its grandeur and impressed by the unparalleled power of the Holy Fadlan.

Even though the "Eternal Sun God Tower" has faded into darkness and the once-glorious Holy Fadlan Empire has disintegrated, people can still feel the lost glory and splendor through the Holy City.

The ground outside the city was riddled with holes.

Everywhere was filled with the Gunsmoke.

Dried bloodstains, piles of corpses, and even the remains of a winged divine being.

Such scenes are common on this ravaged battlefield, with even the city walls riddled with holes and cracks—after all, the Three Great Kingdoms have fought dozens of wars around this city.

On the thick white city walls, Kassand banners stood tall, and Fighter clad in heavy golden armor raised their weapons and shouted.

There were also spellcasters dressed in bright and luxurious robes embroidered with the sun. They held staffs, the magical gems of which shimmered and created a golden shield of light outside the city walls.

Rows of giant golden crossbows were also aimed at the outside of the city, Kassand's soldiers used all their strength to fire thick, burning arrows at them.

Cheers erupted one after another.

Praise the sun!

"For the Kassand Kingdom!"

"His Majesty Otis is the true emperor! Kill these rebels!"

"It is these rebels who have caused us to lose the protection of the great Sun God! Only by eliminating them can His Majesty Otis welcome the return of the God!"

On the city wall, a tall man wearing golden armor, a heavy horned helmet, and eyes blazing with intense light raised a long sword with one arm and roared loudly.

He was Ily Gianvito Velázquez, Divine Descendant Duke of the Kassand Kingdom, a favorite of Aragon I, and one of the first Legendary Warrior to receive the blessing of the Sun God.

He was infamous for his ferocity, having followed the old emperor in his campaigns Southern Expedition, and had once personally slain a Balor.

"Marshal Ily!"

"Victory!"

"Fight for His Majesty Otis! Fight for the restoration of Holy Fadlan!"

As soon as Duke Ily spoke, the crowd on the city wall was immediately excited, and the soldiers of the Kassand Kingdom shouted loudly with overwhelming momentum.

The descendants of the gods in the Kassand Kingdom are primarily enormous, with fair skin and perfect figures, resembling flawless sculptures clad in heavy armor.

He received the blessing of the Sun God and gained power similar to that of the celestial beings of the higher planes, known as the "Supreme Heaven," and is therefore often referred to as the "Titan Divine Descendant."

—And so it was with their king, Otis Aragon.

"Shut up!"

"This is utter defiance!"

High above the city, a female Fighter with enormous, magnificent wings behind her and a greatsword brimming with explosive divine power held the sword in one hand, pointing it down at Ily on the city wall.

"Ily! You are the real traitors! You are the culprits who caused His Majesty's departure!"

"You have abandoned your faith!"

Her eyes were also filled with flames, and the center of her helmet featured the Holy Symbol of the sun, with wing-shaped metal decorations on both sides.

Each flap of its magnificent wings sends Mars.

This angelic female Fighter is named Tirena Star Angel, also a Divine Descendant Duke and a legendary Paladin who has received the blessings of the Sun God.

She too received the blessing of the Sun God and gained power similar to that of the "Subspace God Race" and other angels from higher planes, thus being called "Angel Divine Descendant".

—And so it was with their king, Wilhelm Aragon.

Behind Tirena, hundreds of lightly armored Fighter with wings on their backs flew high in the sky outside the Holy City, almost obscuring the sky.

However, their wings were far less enormous and magnificent than those of Tirena.

Tirena flapped her wings, raised her greatsword brimming with explosive divine power, and shouted in triumph.

"Kassand, you are so arrogant and ignorant!"

"Gentlemen, retake the Holy City!"

"Rebuild the glory of Fadlan, reclaim Teotihuacan!"

She cried out, and the gilded wings floated down from behind, making the scene even more sacred.

"Rebuild the glory of Fadlan, reclaim Teotihuacan!"

Both the Divine Descendant Legion in the sky and the Thrace soldiers on the ground shouted in unison, their voices shaking the heavens and even overwhelming the other side.

On the ground, there were not only legions of mortals, but also divine reinforcements from the Seleucia Kingdom —they had received power similar to that of the "Gaitin Celestial Race," some with horse heads and human bodies, some with deer heads and human bodies, and some even with dragon heads and human bodies.

Amanata sometimes manifests his favor or displeasure through the following beings: Emerald Dragon, Sapphire Dragon, Steel Dragon, Sun Falcon, Brown Dog, Creamy Cat, Snow White Wolf, and Pure White Stallion.

The descendants of the Seleucia Kingdom often acquired the power of these extraordinary beings, giving them heads that differed from those of mortals, and thus they were known as "Divinely Favored Descendant by the gods."

—And so it was with their king, Iloti Aragon.

It is said that this emperor has a dragon's head and a human body.

The military flags of various kingdoms flew simultaneously on this battlefield, all bearing the Sun Holy Emblem, yet three different versions emerged.

The Holy Symbol of the Kassand Kingdom is the sun with crossed swords and shields; the Holy Symbol of the Thrace Kingdom is the sun with outstretched wings; and the Holy Symbol of the Seleucia Kingdom is the sun with a dragon's head turned to the side.

"The Holy City will only belong to Kassand."

"Once His Majesty Otis reclaims Thrace and Seleucid Region, the empire's glory will be restored—His Majesty Aragon can rest in peace."

Ily narrowed his eyes, gazing at the combined forces of the two countries occupying the ground and sky not far away, and said in a low voice.

Thinking of this, he swung his long sword with all his might and shouted loudly, "Soldiers of the Kassand Kingdom, swear to defend the Holy City to the death!"

"We swear to kill the traitors!"

"Whoosh—"

Instantly, a crescent-shaped blade of light shot into the sky, carrying terrifying heat and flames, heading straight for Tirena high in the air.

"Kill!"

"We swear to kill the traitors! We will defend the Holy City!"

The generals on the city wall shouted in unison.

At the same time, giant arrows rained down from the top of the city walls, striking the allied forces outside the city like a storm.

Meanwhile, the spellcasters of the Kassandra Arcane Legion raised their staffs in unison, and beams of light, flames, lightning, and even hurricanes descended from the city walls.

The offensive of the Kassand Kingdom was no less than a natural disaster.

War is imminent.

This is already the umpteenth battle fought over the Holy City.
