Beneath the Red Dragon lay ash drifting through the sky and wreckage scattered everywhere. A few deep-blue scales, burned black yet gleaming, could still be seen amid the sand.
To the countless mortal creatures watching, Golazdra, the Thunder Tyrant who ruled the desert, had died just like that—slain by the Red Dragon Emperor's terrifying dragon breath, without even leaving behind an intact corpse.
Even the Five-Colored Dragon Queen's personal intervention had failed to prevent the Emperor from killing the Great Wyrm Blue Dragon.
