Keyword: Crystal Dragon (No Update Today)

Crystal Dragons were one of the draconic subspecies most deeply connected to Labyrinths on the Terra Continent, and theoretically the most widely distributed as well. Though scarce in number, traces of Crystal Dragons could be found by adventurers everywhere—from icy plains and frozen soil to lava volcanoes, from the depths of the earth to the heart of the seven seas.

In Magic Beast biology, Crystal Dragons belonged to native Magic Beasts: the order Crystalization, suborder Dragonbone, infraorder Crystal Shell, family Crystal Dragon. They were close relatives of Pyroxene Armored Dragons.

Most Crystal Dragons possessed the slender build of sea dragons, though their forelimbs were more developed and their hind limbs had degenerated. Their entire bodies were covered in jagged crystalline shells, but these were not exoskeletons. Rather, they were unified structures formed from countless tiny scales adhering together under the influence of Origin Matter.

An average adult Crystal Dragon exceeded twenty meters in length. Labyrinth varieties varied in size depending on the Labyrinth.

Because Crystal Dragons adopted different developmental strategies within their eggs according to the Origin Matter in their surroundings, there were, beyond ordinary Crystal Dragons, different varieties that leaned heavily toward the four major elements. The crystalline shells on the surface of fire-aspect Crystal Dragons became a kind of crystalline gel resembling uncooled glass. Their tail structures became specialized, allowing them to wield them
