Recently, Ian had been measuring the speed of light.

This was not a particularly difficult task. As long as one had sufficiently high-quality lenses and stable mechanical shafts, it could be done. Given Ian's current status, he could obtain high-quality measuring instruments through practically any channel.

The result was rather curious: the speed of light was completely normal.

Although the measured result was not one hundred percent identical to the speed of light on Earth, overall, the discrepancy fell within an acceptable margin of error.

Tests of the gravitational constant using a Cavendish torsion balance also proved that Terra's gravitational constant was entirely identical to that of Earth's universe.

At this point, there was nothing particularly strange about it. After all, Terra's universe appeared, in most respects, to be a material world. Nearly all phenomena matched those of Earth's universe. Even if they were not the same universe, they were at least extremely similar parallel universes.

But the problem was that Terra's mass was enormous.

Terra Star's mass was roughly 1.7 times that of Earth. Its gravity was indeed stronger, and its density was normal, yet Ian had not felt any related differences.

Of course, that did not necessarily mean anything... Perhaps Terra people were simply physically strong enough that they could not feel the distinction?

It did not sound like a major issue. All the constants were normal, proving that he was not in a universe completely different from Earth's, and that the knowledge and learning he had brought from Earth could still function. Ian should have been happy.
