Eating his little brother sounded terrifying, but to Ian, it felt perfectly natural.

For one thing, on the Swarm Path, Ian had decisively assimilated Elan—though he had indeed cultivated Elan into the finest Swarm Crystal Dragon specimen he could possibly produce, eating was eating. There was no arguing around it.

The feeling left Ian with deeply complicated emotions.

On the Spirit Calamity Path, he had not seen much of Elan's story, and the same was true for the Star-Extinguishing Path... That was certainly because both Paths became far too grand in their later stages, but also because those around him could not be seen clearly due to his own influence. He could only identify them from the side.

If things truly unfolded as he predicted, Elan would certainly achieve something on the Arcane Path in the future.

The Fifth Energy Level was hard to say, but the Third and Fourth Energy Levels should be assured.

That way, once his psychic power underwent its transformation, he would naturally reach the level of Ian's current Retrospective Vision.

With his little brother's psychic power, Ian would surely be able to explore even more ancient secrets and obtain more truths and opportunities ahead of time.

But there would surely also be more opportunities missed, slowing Ian's theoretical rate of development.

Thus, in some parallel timeline, that Ian had failed. He had wanted to transmit his memories and personality into other parallel timelines, only to discover that some opportunities were nearly impossible to obtain without Retrospective Vision. Yet if he directly included information about those opportunities, it would consume far too much of the inheritance's information capacity.

Then, whether Ian himself had taken the initiative or his little brother Elan had done so, Elan's psychic power had been merged into the Guiding Star.
